Third ward is an interesting area with cute little stores and good restaurants and bars. Only had a chance to visit in the winter but by the look of it I am sure the place is beautiful in the summer . Looking forward to visiting it then. A nice place to take a stroll. Shops in the area have unique... More

Had heard about the Historic Third Ward, so I decided to check it out. Had a nice time walking around, shopping, eating and stopping in some of the smaller mom & pop establishments.

Just south of the central business district, this area is filled with numerous restuarants, cafes, and shops. Very positive atmosphere with a good crowd of people filling the streets,

a bunch of closed up stores; those that were opened; were not great really...hard to find parking at mid day Saturday....don't know if we'd make it back again after this visit...nor feel that it was worth it

Plenty of bars and places to get food. The public art along the walks lining the river are amazing. Several places were decorated by the same metal and wood sculptors. Coming to Milwaukee and not spending some time in the 3rd Ward is like going to Disneyland to only smell the flowers.

Visit on a Saturday or Sunday and the parking is free. A lot of great shops, galleries, restaurants, the Public Market make this a great place to spend hours wandering around.

Really enjoy the historical area, great shops and restaurants. Finding parking can be a little rough at times, but if you don't mind walking a little out of your way then you'll be fine

Great market and lots of cute shops and cafes. Nice to see this area restored. Loved all the shops, but it can use less yuppified shops.

We ate at a couple of different places in the Third Ward and reviewed those establishments separately. There are boutique shops and other places to shop, including the Market. The people everywhere here are helpful and are having fun. There's art, coffee, people watching, and bar hopping all in walking distance. Enjoy!

This area is a fantastic way to spend the day. There are so many things to do and see, I can't list them all. Not far from Grand Ave. mall. Very friendly, artsy area. Get an area map, park your car and make a day of it, it's worth it. FYI, wear good walking shoes.
