Great stores including Anthropologie and numerous boutiques and specialty stores. Broadway Paper is not to be missed (specialty wrapping paper, gift bags, custom invitations, novelty gifts, candles, and more - my favorite store in the area). Great restaurants. You could easily spend an entire Saturday here eating, shopping, and drinking.

Parking has been a little more difficult with the highway project underway but the Public Market still had spots that many don't expect. What's great about the third ward is that there is something for everyone and if not, at least the people watching is free! There is the public market, Benelux with over 200 beers, Wicked Hop, Red Elephant... More

I love walking around the Historic Third Ward. The architecture in this area is stunning and tells the story of the industry and commerce that supported the city for so many generations. Today, there are dozens of cute little shops and restaurants. Don't miss the Public Market!

The Historic Third Ward offered many shops and sites. I personally enjoyed the Milwaukee Public Market and the River View Walk on our way back to cross the river. Unique and tasty!

I fell in love with this place my first visit. Love going there, I feel like I am on vacation. So many different venues, shops, restaurants. Seating outside under pavilions with trees and flowers in warmer seasons.

The Third Ward is a vibrant, walkable neighborhood of repurposed warehouses and new construction located just south of downtown Milwaukee. Here the curious can find a wide variety of restaurants, pubs, art galleries, boutiques, resales, delis, specialty shops, professional offices and at least one speakeasy. You might envision yourself purchasing a condo and living here. I spent the better part... More

Visiting Milwaukee, I resided in the “Historic 3rd Ward” for a month. This is really a small city with art shows, street celebrations, unique boutiques, many restaurants and bars. With the assortment of cuisine, markets and variety of businesses, a person would not have to venture out of the area as everything most small cities encompass are right there.

This part of Milwaukee is full of colorful history, so get yourself a walking tour guide and enjoy the past. Then sit at one of the many eateries and enjoy the present. One of my favorites is the Milwaukee Public Market for a $13.95 Lobster dinner done to perfection. Then stroll down to the buy some dessert at the chocolate... More

We love visiting milwaukee and always visit the Third Ward when in town. We love the Market but also the other restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques in this area. Check out their website for events and the comings/goings to the area. So much fun!
