Wonderfully renovated part of Milwaukee. Many charming boutique, clothing and gift shops as well as restaurants. There is a nice goodwill shop called Retrique located there as well. The Milwaukee Public market is located there where there are many options for a good lunch or snack. There are parking meters as well as places to park where you need to... More

Located in the trendy Historic Third Ward, there are many restaurants with seasonal outdoor seating, antique shops, clothing boutiques, chocolate stores, bars, coffee shops and a Public Market with at least a dozen more interesting shops. One of the restaurants has roof top dining. There are local parking lots and the entire area is filled with young college students, professionals,... More

Charming old buildings. A few interesting shops. Many restaurants, some better than others. Parking difficult. Drivers aggressive. A great place for a walk and meal on a sunny day.

This charming well maintained neighborhood offers a wide variety of unique restaurants and quirky one-of-a-kind shops along with interesting architecture. The Public Market is a great place for snacking and finding unique culinary products, including one of the better oileries I've been to in Wisconsin. It's an easy walk from the train station. We recently had Mothers Day brunch at... More

Milwaukee has turned itself around utilizing it greatest assets, the creativity of the men and women of Milwaukee to take its natural and historical resources and use them to their greatest advantage. The transformation has made Milwaukee's eastside a destination site for a variety of occasions. Well done, Third Ward.

This is a fabulous, historic neighborhood in Milwaukee. I like to find a parking spot (usually something available) and stroll for an afternoon. The shopping is great, Anthropology being my favorite (pricey!). Plenty of places to eat with most offering outside dinning. Many coffee houses and pretty places to enjoy a glass of wine. The Public Market is a must!

I think its too overpriced for average Milwaukee people, but for those with big wallets or tourists, its just right. Its very 'avant garde' or lets just say it: pretentious. You will enjoy the 'quaint' shops but dont be fooled, if your a serious shopper, go elsewhere. Some of the restaurants have good overpriced food.

Loved this place. It has many restaurants, shops, a public market, offices. I have tried a couple of restaurants here and they were all very good. Cant go to Milwaukee without coming here. Fun place to go.

Parking may be a bit of a challenge but worth the effort. There are many unique shops along with a few chains like Anthropologie. Rubins is a great place to furniture shop, the Milwaukee Cupcake Company was a great place for a sweet treat. There is dining along the Milwaukee River-a great place to watch all the boats. We enjoyed... More

Plenty of places for food and drink. Wear your walking shoes and take a stroll around the ward and the riverwalk. I do recommend one of the many tours offered for an informational history lesson of Milwaukee and samples of the food and drink.
