Fun place to hang out. There are numerous restaurants and bars in very close proximity to many downtown hotels. Food is abundant and good, and prices are very reasonable.

Great old buildings that have been either restored or well maintained, lively market with groceries and restaurants, lively street and bar scene. There are also a number of coffee shops and galleries to spend the day roaming.

This area has so much to offer. First-rate restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream shops. It's just plain fun to walk around. Lots of funky shops that sell cards, clothing, home decor and other fun things.

This area of Milwaukee is worth the time to visit. There are plenty of interesting individual shops, good restaurants - especially the Milwaukee Ale House - and of course the iconic Public Market

Excellent restaurants, shops and boutiques located in Milwaukee's 3rd Ward. It is up and coming, and the "in" place to go for drinks or a meal.

This is a charming and well renovated older neighborhood with one main drag of independent stores and restaurants. The Market is a fun place to dine on a huge selection of local fare. Retique boutique shouldn't be missed. Goodwill sends their high end donations to this fun boutique for great bargains in a trendy setting!

Worth walking down Broadway and taking some time to check out the Public Market! Too bad they decided to expand I-794 instead of tear it down!

I loved the historic buildings and unique shops. There were a lot of fun sidewalk vendors also. Unique shops, some average priced , some expensive.

This was a neat place to spend a few hours eating and walking around. We had dinner on Sat night on the river and that was awesome. Not so impressed with family friendly, budget lunch choices though when we went back on Monday. Architecture is cool, lots of cool "foo-foo" stores. Probably not the place for younger kids, but my...
