Lovely park which is kept fairly clean. I regularly play tennis there (with court reservations). When you reserve courts, you pay, but since these are well used courts, you are assured a court because you can kick off those who just were walk ons (which are most of the players). On the national register of historic places, this park has something for EVERYONE! It's surprising that so many of the reviews are about food when this is a park. Set in the beautiful Lake Park overlooking Michigan, the restaurant always delivers top of the line meals and a fabulous atmosphere. Whether for lunch with the girls, or a special dinner out, the food is some of the best in the area.

Highlight to me was the North Point Lighthouse. There were also many nice walking trails with fantastic views of Lake Michigan. Beatuiful old homes on the area.

Lake Park is on the north side of Milwaukee and right next to Lake Michigan. It is a nice area that is seeing much improvement in recent years. There is a small par 3 golf course, restaurant, and lawn bowling area. There are many people taking photos in the park all the time. I wish the bathroom facilities were better...

This park is one of the best places to take a walk, to ride a bike, to visit Lake Park Bistro, to play golf, to see a great view of the Lake. Amazingly romantic!

I admit that I'm a park snob so my opinion may be harsh.
Clearly this is an Olmsted-designed park. And perhaps this park is on the rise and is getting some TLC after years of neglect, but I have been running through this park on several occassions and it is currently in poor shape.
