This small area has a nice small park on the south end right on the Milwaukee River. The gem of this district is Usinger Sausage. A unique old world quality sausage maker. Good bars, shops and people watching. For St. Patty's Day we saw the bus jail. Nice to see the Police on top of the crazies.

Located next to the Milwaukee river downtown...you will find Usinger Sausage, world famous Maders restaurant, the river boat cruises, a dozen restaurant offering a variety of ethnic food choices and parking is available. Also close to several sporting arenas, theatres and parks.

We first went to the The Spice House - this place has every spice you can imagine and sells them in the smallest amount to large amounts. This is an adorable historic area of Milwaukee. You can find all kinds of restaurants and shops. Many have traditional German influences.
