From the moment we entered the museum, my wife and I were really impressed with the quality of this museum. The exhibits are impressive and there is so much to see in each one. But what really impressed us was the knowledge of our personal tour guide. He knew the subject matter so well and made the stories so interesting... More

I can't tll you how fun it was to visit this museum with my 6 year old and my 81 year old mother. We all found something to enjoy. The tour was fantastic. Informative and fun. The guide seemed to know exactly what would appeal to each of us. I grew up in the area and visited for my first... More

We found this little museum and we surprised by it. It doesn't take much time to go through it, but you'll love it if you are a history buff wanting to look at Milwaukee through another view.

This is a great, wonderful place to visit. We actually were lucky to have a private tour of the facility who explained everything! Each room is filled with yesteryear.

Step back in time to the 1920's. You can wander the building and look at the exhibits on your own. We chose to have Joel give us a guided tour, and we were very glad we did. He is very knowledgeable about the history behind the exhibits as well as the history of the time. Definitely worth a look.

We took the excellent docent led tour (No extra charge) and then wandered around on our own relooking at some of the rooms again. This museum centers on displays of the 20's, 30's, and 40's and the docent shares great stories and factoids for each room. It was well worth the time and small admission price. A fun place for... We are so please to read that from you! Our late founder once gave that title, "Grandma's Attic", to his collection when he would exhibit some of it at other locations. Thank you for dropping by! More

We took a tour with a group of about 10 people (all from Milwaukee). The museum, the tour, and especially our guide, Steve, was wonderful! So much history about Milwaukee in the 1920's, 30's, and 40's. It is laid out in a way that makes it so very interesting. We absolutely loved it and plan to return when we have... More

My boyfriend and I had a nice time at the museum. We took the guided tour which was no extra charge. I would recommend taking the guide, as it was nice to walk around to walk around with someone who is familiar with the displays. I especially enjoyed the toy section. Our guide was passionate, and we enjoyed him! **TIP**... More

We enjoyed having you visit us! Many people enjoy the stories with the tour guides yet you can walk through on your own as you wrote. The vanilla caramels come from Burke Candy of Milwaukee which has been in business since 1926. Milwaukeeans still love our candies and chocolates! Thank you for taking time to write a review. More
