If you love music.....really love music, you have to attend Summerfest. We just returned after moving from Milwaukee 23 years ago. The grounds have been upgraded. Great acts!! The food is a little pricy as are the beverages, but you gotta go.

beautiful park but has gotten way too expensive to go in and spend more money even if just for food.

Everything was ready but nothing was open. So, the crowd was huge with very few food and drink stands open.

This is a great park with many great festivals including German fest, Polish fest, Festa Italiano and Irish fest. The authentic ethnic foods are outstanding, as is the music and entertainment at each. There is always a reduced admission, usually the first day of the given fest. Summerfest, the worlds largest music fest is also held here. All of the... More

This place is the best and home to the best and biggest music festival anywhere...."The Big Gig" it runs for 11 days the end of June thru the first week in July. Lots of bands, beer and fun. They have alot of other festivals here as well.

Went to Polish Fest here at the Festival Park June 12th. It was very clean and easy to navigate. Had a lot of fun! They have multiple ethnic festivals throughout the summer.

You can take a tour like I did by boat, or also a walking tour, a pub crawl, or any of the special events they hold. The architecture is amazing and the energy is electric. So many cool places to see for eating, shopping, and perusing the sights.

A very special place to learn about Milwaukee and the many cultures that make up the citizenry. DON'T FORGET TO VISIT IRISH FEST - always scheduled for the third week end in August. World class Irish Traditional Music, A Cultural Village that truly is authentic and replicates what you can see in Ireland. Lots of wonderful Irish merchandise imported just... More

A fun cultural immersion. Good food, great music. Very family friendly environment. Always come back to Milwaukee each year for this festival.

Worth a trip to Milwaukee, for Summerfest alone. ENjoy all other fests. Can't blame the festival park mainly, but I was trampled during the mass rush at the end of a saturday night, because they allowed thousands of people in without tickets or counting, to eliminate long lines! Resulted in madness within the grounds, longer lines for beer and food... More
