The Festival Park is one of the Milwaukee's jewels. If you are visiting Milwaukee between June and September be sure to see what is going on here. Summerfest is the granddaddy of events and each of the other ethnic fests have their own great food, drink, and entertainment to be enjoedy by all ages. It is the place to be... More

What a great place for festivals. Sometimes one band stage was a little too close to another at the festival, but overall, everything was great; walkable and so great to be able to take a break at the lakeside...Irishfest was GREAT.

We have been here for various events. There are food vendors and bars located throughout the park. Nice bathroom facilities. We were here for a HD event and lost the motorcycle keys. A policeman found them and turned them into lost and found. This park is huge and it is one small key, I had no hope of finding. When... More

We (two adults in mid 40s and three kiddos ages 15, 10, and 6) had the pleasure of visiting Henry Maier Festival Park and loved experiencing German Fest in Wisconsin. There were, of course, lots of different German-themed things to enjoy including food, beer, music, etc. We loved seeing all of the people walking around in German clothes. We purchased... More

Some of my earliest memories are of my parents taking me here as a kid for Summerfest. As an adult, I now take my kids to the grounds for different things. We recently went to Irish Fest and will be going back for Mexican Fiesta soon. We prefer to go earlier in the day, as more drinkers and a rowdier... More

You can't be in Wisconsin in summer and not go to the Festival Park at least once. You can pick from Summerfest or any of the numerous Ethnic festivals such as Irish, German, etc.

I fully realize that some big names have been coming to Summerfest, but really what I enjoy are lesser known acts; some of these bands are just trying to get heard, others have their first DVD they're trying to get out there (these bands come on early; the later times are reserved for the well known acts). I love local... More

I have been for many festivals and am never disappointed. The grounds crew does a great job of keeping the space clean and the food is always great!
