Vistied with family of 11 for German Fest. Would recommend, something for all. We've been to other weekend festivals here. the German Fest has a lot of families off all ages, particularly senior citizens, don't be afraid to come, there's something for all ages.

We have been coming to the park for Germanfest for 28 years. The City of Milwaukee never fails on this event. The people, the employees...we've never had a bad experience here. Will keep returning.

Was usually billed as the largest Italian Festival in the US. It has changed this year. It still has a terrific variety of food items for your meals. They have always had great entertainment throughout the day on several stages. Especially some of the biggest names of Italian singers have performed here. A big changeover has taken places this year.... More

I'd skip it with kids, and I wouldn't let my teen drive or ride with a friends to Summerfest. It's more like drunkfest. 5 minutes in the gate, a young lady vomited and splashed on me. So gross. Long lines for food, beer, good luck finding water or soda. Lots of vendors selling junk. Shoulder to shoulder crowds trying to... More

Most of the big summer festivals in Milwaukee are organized here. This is situated conveniently in the downtown just by the lake Michigan shore. Has ample space to host thousands of people. The amphitheater is quite good too. All the facilities are well maintained too

Strongly recommend going to this festival park when in Milwaukee. Don't just go to summer fest but go to some of the other festivals that are held at same area. Facilities are well maintained, clean and staff is helpful. They always have concerts, food and beverages for sale. Pleanty for young kids also.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Summerfest. Compared to UK festivals it was more family oriented and everyone behaved impeccably. Food was reasonably priced which was a nice surprise and even merchandise wasn't expensive. The bands were fantastic and the Marcus Amphitheatre for the two events we saw was packed and a fantastic atmosphere

Great music and the grounds are impeccable. The crowds are another story. We went in the afternoon and it was manageable, however, towards evening it was crazy busy. It was difficult to walk it was so crowded. I would go back again but plan my time earlier in the day. There are so many bands that it would be hard... More

I have been to Summer Fest every year for the past 10 years and have yet to have a bad experience. Other festivals such as Polish fest and Irish fest are just as spectacular. The only thing i would complain about it the price of food and beer. Although, the Lake Front Brewery tent is pretty good for price and... More
