I attended all three days of the Festival this year. I went to see The Bronx Wanderers, they are the best. They performed 3 amazing shows this year. On Friday night they were singing "Coming to America" just as the fireworks started, that was so cool. Saturday night they performed right up to closing almost a 3 hour show! I... More

4 couples from Springfield IL traveled in for Festa Italiana. We enjoyed everything about it. Great food, great entertainment and very clean festival grounds. There were activities for all ages. We grazed our way through the fest for about 8hrs. Parking was super easy and the weather was perfect. Would highly recommend this event.

I was walking around the town, looking for the trolley stop and stumbled upon the park. I had a blast just hanging out; there was a live band, lots of families, couples, and friends chilling, listening to the music and having fun. I felt safe and on way back to hotel had a lot of eateries to pick from.

We have not been to Summerfest since graduating from Marquette back in the early 80's. The park was really quite clean considering the huge crowds over the 4th of July weekend. We always felt safe, however, if you do not like huge crowds, you might want to go earlier in the day. The Summerfest staff is great. Plenty of bathrooms,... More

The music festival has something for everybody. Food, shopping, music, and also huge crowds, a specially late at night. We went to see Zac Brown Band, which was amazing. One of the best concerts we've seen.

For my first time at Summerfest, I was impressed. It was affordable and enjoyable, even though it rained on and off. The bands we saw on the side stages were decent although I could have done without the rappers. I wasn't overly fond of all the young kids blocking the walk-ways while waiting for Ludacris but overall it was fun.... More

I have to say the grounds at Festival Park are fantastic. The concessions buildings are actual buildings. There are many to choose from (German, British, Irish, Mexican, Thai, Italian, and about a dozen more) and most of it is fairly decent for festival type food. The restrooms are buildings, not portapottys. Surprisingly there are many located across the park and... More

GREAT event! Reading reviews I have to agree with some negative comments: Yes! It's loud! Yes! It's lots of drunks! But it's SummerFest! !!! Don't go to SummerFest just because: BE smart! Plan ahead: check website summerfest.com and choose the music you like! There is a LOT of choices: from kids music (Tuesday) to good old times favourites! And anything... More

There is nothing I did not like about Summer Fest but was a little surprised there was not a huge effort to ask for ID for people who were purchasing beer.
