This venue is situated on the shore of Lake Michigan with views of the skyline, the coast, the water, and the Milwaukee art museum. We attended an arranged dinner and the food was excellent. There are multiple opportunities for viewing sea life et al. It is easy walking distance from downtown.

We were quite surprised at the size and scope of the museum. The aquarium features were interesting and informative, better than we expected. The technology areas were cool as well. There are places within the venue that are getting a little tired looking, it obviously gets well used. The one thing we really wanted to see was the "hive",but it... More

We were in the area so we decided to drop in to Discovery World. A great mix of maritime, marine and technology. I found myself wishing I didn't have a plane to catch so I could spend more time.

We had about two hours available and that was just right for us. The bed of nails was very cool as was the airplane simulator. The ship upstairs was fun to go thru. Kind of like any other science museum with the addition of an aquarium. This was worth seeing.

I've been to different science museums, and I have to say I wasn't won over by Discovery World. It is in a beautiful location, and that alone is worth it, but I just felt like the exhibits were not very well explained. I agree there were things that were hands on and fun to try, but there were many exhibits... More

If you have young kids and you are in Milwaukee this is a must! There are lots of interactive things that your whole family can do. There is a large variety of things to do, like a flight simulator, an incredible 360 degree 3D movie, and an aquarium. There are also some very interesting summer camps for most ages, including... I have had a membership to DW and have been truly disappointed. the exhibits and interactive exhibits are boring for adults as well as children. My children range in the ages of 7 - 23 and non wish to go back. Had to let my membership expire until they rethink what they wish to offer.
