Wonderful place to take kids and out of town grown-ups. Near Art Museum and other downtown attractions. Tesla show worth the extra cost.

We visited on March 26th, 2014. Four adults. $17/adult. We arrived a little after 9am when it opened. Parking was easy. Lots of space! We started our tour in the technology wing. Lots to see and do. The guys loved the music area. Spending well over thirty minutes taking it all in. The giant hamster wheels were fun but exhausting!... More

The museum is an interesting and entertaining place. It is a little expensive for what is there. Many of the hands on exhibits did not work. Museum staff was incredibly helpful and courteous. Parking problems on the day we arrived delayed getting in -- how can you not have anyone to open the parking area doors? Yet when we got... More

Took my youngest, age 7 (boy) to this museum yesterday as we have a few days left of spring break. I was told by a friend to call ahead and ask if there were many school groups in the building. That was a good idea. I was told the day we had planned to go had many, many school groups... More

Wonderful place for children. Although there were several school groups there, we did not feel overcrowded and my three and five year old had a wonderful time!

This was a really great experience in Milwaukee. Lots of great hands on science exhibits and an aquarium to boot! My children had a really great time, and so did I, which is sometimes rare with attractions like this. As a bonus it is right on Lake Michigan, so the scenery around is just amazing. The only issue was the... More

My husband LOVED this place. We spent over 5 hours there. Took the behind the scenes aquarium tour. There are lot of kids. I mean ALOT. But, we braved the children and had a great time. Lots to see and touch!

I took my children to the old Discovery World at the Milwaukee Museum. It pales in comparison to the beautiful Museum that has emerged on our Lake Front and aptly named Discovery World. It is an exciting place that peeks the interest and curiosity of every attendee. You won't be disappointed. The exhibits rotate often and it is set up... More

Nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan is this outstanding science museum. With exhibits to please all ages, everyone will be entertained and educated. From a full-scale ship to a giant scale model of the Great Lakes to a much larger aquarium than you would expect (there's a flounder!!!), the part of the museum that focuses on water is a... More

My husband and I are fond of museums, we visited this museum in Dec 2013 over a weekend trip to Milwaukee. This is very informative museum for kids ages between 5-12. They have best exhibition about how water company works and how water is wasted/conserved. You can easily spend 3-4 hours here, which we did on a cold saturday. Although... More
