A lot of the displays were "under construction". What was there didn't seem to have labels or plaques. With a little work this could have been much more educational but it seemed lacking. The aquarium was definitely a small highlight.

My husband and I love visiting museums when we travel to new places. Honestly, this was a total bust. We were excited by the list of exhibits, but upon actually seeing them, we were totally disappointed. The exhibits were hard to follow and in some cases, no information was next to the object, concept, etc. being looked upon. We paid... More

Lots and lots of kids running around. But you expect that visiting during the week with school groups etc. Seemed like the amount of exhibits not working or being refurbished was high. Parking was a joke. Staff that runs underground parking doesn't show up until an hour or two after museum opens according to folks selling tickets. Went with 9... More

Our family really enjoys Discovery World as well. So many hands on features. The only downside for me is the price - if we didn't have a couple free passes, it would not have been in our budget. It is a really neat place with a huge boat in the middle that my kids could spend hours on, the hands... More

Took our 5 yo granddaughter there. She enjoyed it but got bored quickly. Geared to older kids. Lots of high school and middle school field trips there. Recommend it for older kids.

Loved this museum. Something for everyone. And the landscape was amazing--the lake, the rocks. It's a mini ocean. Loved the aquarium and the stingray you can pet. All in all, it was a fabulous way to spend a few hours with 20 choristers between the ages of 10 and 16.

Was here for the first time 5 years ago. Made a return visit this week and it was really disappointing. There are so many "interactive" exhibits that are broken and need fixing. It really is too bad. I don't know if they have lost a lot of their funding or what. It's quite expensive to visit, and you can spend... More

This is one of my favorite memories of my childhood when I visited Milwaukee. There is so much to do. If you are wondering what to for a day in Milwaukee, this is the spot that is fun for almost all children, teens, and parents.

My son loves coming back each year, from age 2 to now 5, he's been able to explore more and more. Adults can find interesting hands-on areas. Beautiful Lake Michigan view!!
