Visited on a Sunday morning with my 10 year old son. He really enjoyed several of the exhibits. Going in I was concerned that this type of hands on museum might be too much like a children's museum but trust me it was able to keep my budding tween engaged.

We recently went to an event in the party space on the top floor. The room was beautiful and spacious and offered great views of the city!

We did not go into the museum. My nephew and I attended their Saturday experiment outside with liquid nitrogen. He loved touching the "cloud" and seeing the frozen flower, banana, and rubber ball. It's free and held on a few Saturdays while the weather permits. My nephew loved the action and the guy hosting was very entertaining for kids and... More

Went to discovery world with my grandson. He was in his element!! He took us all around and showed us everything feeling really proud while on his journey. Lots to do lots to see. Our little 3 month grand daughter was thrilled with the aquarium. It was well worth it!

Such a great place to take the kids- or adults! You get to walk around and see a to scale representation of the great lakes, and fun aquarium, you can pet fish :), and so much more! You could go many times and see different things each time. Very fun!

I always enjoy an aquarium, this one was fine and there was an interesting exhibit on clean water. It is mostly a museum for educating children. I would say 40 % of the exhibits were broken or missing.

We visited here because our kids wanted to go to a museum type place. First, we had difficulty finding a parking place and ended up parking at a meter and walking several blocks. Once we got to the building, we debated about going in because of the price ($18 for adults, $14 kids). We finally decided to just have my... More

We spent half a day here and did not see everything. We especially liked the Great Lakes exhibits, from the giant diorama with real gentle, storms and the wildlife of the Great Lakes in the Aquarium. What a treasure we have here in the Midwest. We also loved the nuclear energy exhibit. Seeing it in person increases the comprehension immensely.... More

We brought my nephews and niece (ages 7, 9, 11) and all really enjoyed it. There are a wide variety of exhibits, most of which are interactive. The only thing preventing me from giving it an excellent rating is the extent to which quite a few of the exhibits did not work. However, that aside, the kids had a great... More
