This museum has so much to offer. We went to view artifacts of the early americas. Up on the third ffloor were displays of artifacts of early people from all groups in US, Central and South America. there is a beautiful display of Wisonsin native people today in their native dress. Very creaitive. Others in our group enjoyed the butterfly... More

After several visits, we still find something new and interesting on each visit. The programming here is imaginative, e.g. the archeology fair.

I am a teacher and our second grade visits the museum each year. It complements many aspects of our curriculum. I have also visited the museum with my own family as well. Make sure to set aside time for the butterfly vivarium (room), which is delightful to children of all ages. A hidden gem is the children's laboratory with live... More

This is one of the most interesting and diverse museums I've ever visited. Each floor feels like I'm in a completely different place. I really feel lost in wonder when I visit this museum. Some of my favorite things are the butterfly exhibit, the igloo, the dinosaurs, and the iMax theatre! Highly recommend and it has a lot of revisiting... More

Went here with kids ages 12, 10, and 8. Very familiar with all of the museums in Chicago, and this one is like the diorama section of the Museum of Natural History on crack! I have never seen so many. Pretty awesome, but we were all ready to go after a few hours. Diorama overkill. For sure worth a visit... More

From the outside, it looked like a "little" museum. We thought we'd just run in and check it out. Turned out to be an engaging museum full of a nice collection of very thoughtfully designed exhibits from old Milwaukee to different cultures around the world. This was well worth the trip. My daughters, age 16 and 21 gave it 3.5... More

My family and I enjoyed this museum very much, with three floors and movies it was well worth our time and money. We enjoyed the streets of old Milwaukee and how Milwaukee came to be. There was a Native American pow wow that was so life like it was something I will not soon forget. We enjoyed learning about Samson... More
