We were here for a private, evening event. Having not been in here in years (since we were grade school kids on a field trip) we were excited to see it again. The event layout was great, got people on every level, mingling, enjoy the displays. This place is LARGE though, so be prepared to do plenty of walking and... More

I have always loved this place. The streets of Old Milwaukee, the European Village, the Butterfly Wing, the bugs there is everything here. Take in an IMAX movie while you are there it's an outstanding facility. My nephews had so much fun I didn't have the heart to tell them they were learning while they were there. Here is a... More

The only thing I do not enjoy doing when going to the museum is the IMAX but that is only because I get very dizzy very easily. The planetarium presentation is stellar though! Love all the old and the new exhibits they always have. A lot of variation with the traveling exhibits and lots of nostalgia with the old. The... More

My 14-year-old daughter requested a trip to MPM with a friend for her birthday. She's been there multiple times, and loves it. The traveling exhibits are always a hit, but she enjoys the Streets of Old Milwaukee and the butterfly room every time!

Not to mention, there is an IMAX built in. On Valentine's Day I took my husband to the planetarium at the museum. That was super fun. Highly... More

Beautiful building interior and attractions (no matter how old they might be). Never a waste of time or money. IMAX is an extra charge, and never fails to impress.

Growing up I was spoiled by this museum...We moved away and I spent the next decade being disappointed in every museum I ever went to because nothing could compare. This place is so cool, and I am a museum junkie. I haven't found one that compares to it. Yes, there are the mega museums in NYC and DC. I've been... More
