The Milwaukee Symphony is truly world class! Always excellent performances with great guest performers. The acoustics and comfort of the venue are perfect. It's one of our favorites.

I have been to countless concerts over the years and they are always above average to fantastic. Mark has really gotten the city back on track with supporting its symphony. My only 'beef' is with the concert goers who almost always give a standing ovation. Standing ovations are for the best performances possible, not an everyday event!

You bet it is. We went to the holiday pops concert this past December. Prices were about as expected, but the seats were wide and comfortable and the performance was outstanding. We are planning a return trip with all the family we can get to come along.

I've got a "bucket list" of classical music, and MSO did Beethoven's 9th. We've gone to MSO before before and their performances are always well above average. We travel from Chicago area, and its just about as convenient as going to Chicago Symphony. Easy parking; less hassle getting around Marcus center area. Dinner and the symphony are much easier to... We were so fortunate to be invited by friends to this performance. We'd never listened to all four movements, even on a recording - so it was a real treat. The choir was amazing and the entire performance was perfection. We've attended events since the PAC opened back in the day, and this was easily the musical highlight.

Marvelous seats--twelfth row from the orchestra, center third. Appreciative crowd. Tremendous, original, emerging virtuosity exhibited by the young (26 year-old) Finnish conductor, who seemed rather to undulate, rather than conduct. Was admitted "back-stage" after the concert to personally congratulate Rouvali for his tremendously perceptive interpretation of Sibelius (stood, informally, with the rest of the orchestra awaiting the conductor, next to... The orchestra is wolrd class and the Marcus Theater is a wonderful venue. My only criticism would be that they do not perfrom often enough and rarely outside the Maruc Theater. Wish there were more performances, but truly magnificnet.

We attended the "Music of Mad Men" Pops concert in June and certainly enjoyed the show. The conductor was Steven Reineke (from Carnegie Hall). He was very personable and the songs he chose were very entertaining. The best part of the show was hearing the singing of the Guest Artist of the evening...Hugh Panaro ! He is the current Phantom...
