Based on TA reviews (and a GroupOn offer) we added this tour to our agenda for a long weekend trip to Milwaukee. I would say this is really... just OK. The tour itself is really not much of a tour...after seeing a 20 minute narrated video, you are basically escorted into one long hallway with windows overlooking some production lines...that's... Hi CandyceW, Thank you for your feedback. We've taken note of the fact that our customers are asking for more adult-oriented activities here at Palermo's which is one of the reasons why we've launched our new tour & tasting packages. We have wine and beer events open to the public (advanced reservations required) where you get to taste 5 different... More

We took our 3rd grade girl scout troop for the Friday tour. It was so much fun! The pizza was fantastic. The t-shirts were a fun souvenir. Our tour guide was AWESOME! She went above and beyond... even going outside in the nasty weather to take our picture.

The pizza factory tour is great fun for families. My 8 year old nephews loved it. The enjoyed the short video and were mesmerized watching the pizzas being made on the factory floor. Educational and very fun. At the end each person got 2 slices of the pizza so it was a great way to end the tour. Make your... More

Hi Spiketon, thank you for your review! I'm glad you mentioned making the reservation in advance. We're coming up on busy season when the kids get out of school so we certainly recommend booking with notice. Thanks again, glad you had fun! More

I guess for starters I didn't realize how much Palermo's had to offer besides walking into the grocery store and picking up a frozen pizza pie for dinner. This tour is a great experience that my family and I enjoyed very much. The staff was friendly, the tour was informative and the entire experience was fun! I wouldn't hesitate to... More

Hi TingoMuffin, Thanks for the review! Great to hear you had a nice time at Palermo's. Definitely stop back in the pizzeria on a Friday night to try our wood-fired pizza sometime - it's totally different and absolutely delicious :) More

My kids groaned when I suggested taking Palermo's Pizza factory tour over spring break, but everyone had a blast. I liked the format: We watched a video narrated by our tour guide, Susannah, to learn the history of the company and how they make pizza. Then, we saw the production lines in action. (The video helped us understand what we... More

I felt I was paying for an infomecial. The pizza we sampled was good but the video, so called tor & "gift" was lame. What are we going to do with 4 oven sticks? Not worth paying for. If it was free, Yes.

I'm sorry you didn't have a good time on our tour. Most people really like the fact that they get to learn so much about Palermo's. I'm glad you enjoyed the pizza at the end. Stop back for slice in our pizzeria which is open to the public 6 days a week. More

They serve fresh made pizza on tour and give gifts for one low price. Would have liked to see more parts of the factory , but safety reasons usually prevent that

My husband and I took the tour today. It was interesting and informative and the pizza was great! The only change I would suggest is to offer an adults-only tour option. There were a LOT of small and very loud children that made the tour less enjoyable for older people who just don't appreciate all that chaos. Other than that,... More

Hi Christine M, Thank you for your honest feedback. Our Friday public tours are usually a big mix of ages... and this past Friday we definitely had a lot of kids on the tour. I'm glad you mentioned the idea of an adults-only tour because we are launching Italian Beer/Pizza Tastings and Italian Wine/Pizza Pairings this spring! Those tasting packages... More

We took the tour with approximately 30 children, ages 4-14. Susannah did a great job engaging the different ages, keeping them all interested. The children loved to watch the production line in action. The movie was fun, as the kids were able to shout out answers during the whole thing. The pizza was delicious and filling - the portions are... More

Our tour guide did a great job. It was very informative and the kids in my class enjoyed it. They loved how delicious the pizza was. Susannah was very informative and engaged the students at every time possible. I've been on this tour a few times before and it was just as good.
