Great Zoo!

This is one of the experiences of going to a Zoo! It was huge and very well maintained. The zoo itself had a ton of animals and some that you won't see at other zoos.

Really great zoo - my only complaint would have to be the price and the expensive charge for parking. But if you realize this and accept it beforehand, the visit will be great. Even on a cold day you could see almost all the animals, as most of them have indoor homes that you can visit them in. As others... More

We love coming to the Zoo with our kids and grand kids. The expressions on their faces are priceless. This is one of the best zoos in the US. Always new things to enjoy. A great place to slow down and enjoy all the nature around you. Some of the trees are hundreds of years old. Treat yourself.

Our zoo is one of the best in the country to experience anytime of the year! But my absolute favorite season to experience the zoo is the Fall. Pick a Sunday in October when Milwaukee is at peak color. Arrive when the zoo opens to be one of the first families to walk down the path from Monkey Island to... More

I visit the MKE area fairly frequently and since my daughter and her family have season passes, I go with them to the zoo. I've been there with the 'dinosaur' exhibit.....I've seen Samson who unfortunately is now long gone. The habitats are beautiful with predator and prey adjacent to each other. You need to plan and spending at least half... More

Milwaukee has one of the best zoos I've seen, especially considering it's a mid-size city. The animals look healthy and well cared for, and there are a great variety of animals to see. If you have little ones, be sure to visit the small petting zoo area.

While Milwaukee is known for its breweries and such, its also a great place for cultural diversions any season of the year. We chose a central downtown hotel location for its convenience and its walking distance to many of the sites. Three favorite places to tour are: 1. Milwaukee zoo-- it has a cute motorized train tram trolley that eases... More

Enjoyed our visit hadn't been in quite awhile. Many animals of course sleeping the winter away but those up active and the crowd was minimal.

We might have been the only couple at the zoo that didn't have children, but it was still a sight to see.
