The zoo is very clean, wide open, and family friendly. However if you are not a resident of Milwaukee County it is very expensive to pay for entry and parking. Not a quick stop location.

Title says it all-I wanted to free all the animals. The place is a dump! The food was astronomically priced and gross. Everything was dirty. This place should be closed.

Hard to compare with zoos like the Smithsonian. Most of the animals looked stressed. The grand kids enjoyed the goat petting area the best.

We had such an amazing time at the zoo, there are tons of animals to see and many different shows and other attractions, like the train ride, which was real fun. We also liked going to see the animals being fed at different times. One bonus is they let you bring your own food inside the zoo, which is always... More

One of the best zoos around. They're innovative in their displays. The animals are up close. It's an amazing place to take your kids or anyone visiting Milwaukee.

I have seen a lot of Zoo's in my time and Milwaukee County Zoo stands in the top five Zoo's in the nation. There exhibits change often, this is a great place for the young and old. Enjoy.

The staff was very helpful when we asked where the lions were. Enjoyed watching the elephants getting washed. It was very informative.

This is one of the best zoos anywhere. Easy layout and reasonably priced. They have an awesome children's area where kids can pet and see farm animals up close and personal. Lots of shady places to eat and relax.
