A great day to stumble upon the special day for one Orangutang. He was all decked out in his spring birthday suit and enjoying all the attention from attendees wanting to snap photos of the birthday boy.

Even though you have to pay a fee to get in, it is well worth it. The zoo is clean and well laid out with a few additional activities to do while you are there. Expect to spend about a whole day there.

We went here all the time with my cousins and grandparents. I also took my kids here after we moved here from CA. They loved it also. Its amazing how some things like the bird and butterfly room has stayed the same, but the primate house is so different. Its advertised as open all year round, however I went with... More

How do people compare this zoo to San Diego? I travel a lot and always make an effort to visit an area zoo in whatever city I happen to be visiting. As a result I have been to many of the country’s best, and worst, zoological parks. Coming from Saint Louis, I know that an amazing zoo can be built... More

A step below the St. Louis Zoo and the San Diego Zoo, but not by much. This is perhaps the third best zoo in the US. If you have the time, definetly worth a visit.

I've always had fun here with family and friends. My husband brought my family and neighbors on a company outing. And I brought my son here several times and I even got engaged here. I have very special memories and I always will.

I love going to the Zoo. Every time I go there is always something different going on. I love watching the animals doing their thing. Can't wait to have my son grow up and really get excited to watch the animals. The zoo has plenty of parking and tons of places to stop and get a bite to eat. The... More
