We hand-craft award winning distilled spirits in limited quantities using old world methods and traditions which we believe result in a superior product. We’re a bit of an anomaly in the spirits business - we actually make our own products! We’re a handful of people devoted to the craft of distilling and creating the best distilled spirits possible. As Wisconsin's first distillery since prohibition we are anxious to share our unique products and look forward to meeting people who appreciate high quality craft distilled spirits. Give us a try and see for yourself how unique these hand crafted spirits can be. We are pleased to be able to open our distillery to the public everyday for tours. During our approximately 1 hour tour, visitors will learn about our award winning products, how & why we make them and receive a flight of five products to try (complimentary soda is available for non-drinkers). « less

The tour was very nice and informative. The staff was very knowledgeable and able to answer all questions. At end of tour you're given various shots to taste. Unless you like to just down "shots" it was a bit much for me but others oin the tour did enjoy the various shots. So if you like liquor this would be... More

This manufacturing tour and tasting venue in Milwaukee's iconic Walker's Point neighborhood is a clear winner. I have taken it several times now with different groups of visitors to the area and each time it just gets better and better. That's saying something these days when a lot of tourist venues never seem to blow the dust off their tired... More

The only reason I went, was becaz of groupon, 2 for 1. Its nothing like the beer tours. One room tour, it was extremely hot, no air, and then they give you a few shots straight, no mixer, that was like drinking peroxide, I through it away, as most did. I was so glad when it was done!!Never again!!

Quick stop for a few drinks to try their spirits, and so glad we did. We did not have time for the tour, but so wished we did! The atmosphere is very clean and modern, but the vibe is laid back and relaxed. Our bartender was helpful and informative and friendly. Wished we could have stayed longer. Would definitely return... The gin and vodka were excellent and the scotch wasn't bad. I love the $1 tasters. Didn't have time to do the tour. Only downside is that bottles of the liquor were expensive

This tour was suggested to us by friends. It's a great deal-- an hour long tour/tasting for $7. The actual tour is about 30 minutes long and then you sample 6 different liquors. You are allowed to bring a drink along with you, so check out the bar before you start. I had a great cocktail that was basically a... More

Fun tour and good bar/patio area. We've done other distillery tours elsewhere and this place is similar in that all the distilling takes place in a small space. Amazing the quality and quantity of alcohol produced in this space - including green and red absinthes! Tour is reasonably priced at $7 which includes tasting 6 products. Nice change from yet... making alcohol is much simpler than brewing beer. How they get the taste is another story. Great Lakes makes some good tasying booze. If you like a taste and want a brief history lesson about a plethora of factual tidbits relating to the distillery,Milwaukee, or how they named the booze go on the tour.

We had a tasting here before but had never done the tour. It is a small facility but it has an interesting story, told in a fun and friendly manner. Picture taking is allowed throughout, which is nice. The tour is followed by a tasting of six of their products in a very comfortable tasting room. The tour is very... More

A fun one-hour tour. Begins with a very interesting presentation on the history of alcoholic beverage making and drinking before, during, and after the era of Prohibition. Then you learn a lot about how spirits are distilled and, more importantly, how they are crafted. Best yet -- a tasting of six of their own products. Learned why I dislike so... More
