The Horticultural Conservatory was very pretty. It's a great way to do something inside that takes less than 90 minutes. We we're charged the local resident rate (I think most people are). Absolutely loved the domes. We visited in March and they had an exhibit of Lego art which was fascinating for the kids. There was a huge crowd on a Saturday afternoon so I'd suggest trying a weekday if possible. Well worth the $5. more

I've been visiting the Domes since they were built when I was a kid. They're still enjoyable, especially in the cold WI winter. There's nothing like a walk through the Desert Dome or Rainforest when it's below zero outside. The last dome changes seasonally. I enjoyed these three wonderful botanical domes very much.One was for tropical plants,one for desert plants(plenty of cacti),and another for temperate Wisconsin plants in the spring.I also improved my knowledge of Botany. more
