These were like indoor botanical gardens. Beautiful to walk through but the kids got bored toward the end. Would like to have seen a staff member in the domes to answer questions.

Used to take my son here when we lived in Milwaukee. He loved it then and it was a nice as ever. Plants are beautifully maintained and presented very well. Fully accessible. This place is especially lovely on a cold winter day when it is bitter and snow-covered outside - like a trip to a warm place!

At $7 per person, I'm not sure this was worth the money. There are two themed domes (tropical & desert) and one called the Showdome, which appeared to be a beautiful backdrop for photography. The tropical done had replica dinosaurs hidden among the plants that I'm sure kids would enjoy. Parking is plentiful and it is easy to find this... More

We had some time on a recent visit to Milwaukee, so took our 3 sons (ages 10, 8, 5) to the Domes. They enjoyed walking through the Tropical and Desert Domes, checking out all the different plants. It was a pleasant time and a nice way to pass 1-2 hours.

There are three domes that each have their own theme. One dome has tropical plants, another has desert plants, and the third dome is known as the Show Dome. It took about 90 minutes to walk in all three domes. There is much vegetation in each dome that is easily seen from paved paths. Comfortable temperatures were found in all... More

The garden domes were very enjoyable. They have a desert dome which was my favorite. They also had a tropical dome and show dome which houses special exhibits. I enjoyed all three domes. The place was well taken care of and all the plants and trees looked very healthy. We enjoyed it.

Three horticulture domes: Show (seasonal and special holiday flowers and plants), Tropical (very humid), and Desert (dry and warm). Great place to experience different climates and flora. Sometimes they have special displays, e.g. model trains. Snacks available, nice gift shop. Scavenger hunt for kids (and adults!). Pictures of the historical development of the facility. A bit expensive, but very low... More

We went on a free day when they have the farmers market. Busy and crowded that day but still a lovely afternoon with kids. Some flowers were in bloom and kids loved pointing things out and asking the names of various plants. (10,10 and 5 yr olds)

We traveled an hour and a half to see the domes. While we enjoyed them, I don't think I would travel that far to see them again. However, if you are already in the area, then it is worth a visit. The building itself was dated and nothing spectacular, but the gardens were quite beautiful. The show dome was simple,... More
