Grab your bike, kite, picnic basket, ball and glove, football, etc . and make your way to the lakefront. We are so fortunate here to have so much free space to enjoy the beauty of nature and the awesome body of water - Lake Michigan. Just being there will lift your spirit.

A nice relaxing walk. There's alot of activity between the joggers, bike riders, boats, kite fliers, etc. Fun to walk along Lake Michigan.

This park includes an easy walking, jogging, biking path skirting the marina and Lake Michigan. The path weaves aroound the Milwaukee Art Museum, which looks like a massive sailing ship bearing down on the harbor, and around a small lake where paddle boats can be rented. It would be easy to spend a day here.

This is a wonderful park on the lakefront near a lot of stuff. We rented a bicycle-built-for-two and rode the bike path into town and had lunch. You can rent just about any mode of fun transport, including taking a Segway tour, but avoid the Surrey. That's a four-wheeled contraption with bench seats and pedals. We tried one of them... More

We drove down to the lakeshore on Saturday afternoon, as it was the first really nice weekend here in Milwaukee. We found hundreds of other people who had exactly the same idea that we did. We ended up sharing the path with walkers, runners, dogs, roller-bladers, and tourists. The park is kept really clean, and there is plenty of parking... More

When we first thought of moving to Milwaukee in 1999 my family came here and was very impressed. We have since been back many times for picnics and riding bikes on the lakeway.

Beautiful park right on Lake Michigan with lots of open space. This place holds wonderful memories for me especially as my fiance and I often picnic here, and on such an occasion last year, he proposed!

Only minutes from downtown Milwaukee, you'll feel like you aren't even in the BIG city. With great views of Lake Michigan and downtown Milwaukee, my family and I come regularly for family picnics. We only wish that the regular bathrooms would be open/fixed as we don't like the port-a-potties.

i could do without the goose turds but you can't escape the turds in most Milwaukee Parks.... there's a pond so whaddya gonna do? Seen some awesome sights. Giant kites and usually there are rentals of many types. It was also a great venue for Rock the Green which I went to in Sept. Great for a walk/run!

I went to thsi park twice a year in the last 11 years for kite festivals. It's a very beautiful park on the shore of the lake, with a marina on one side. Bicycle and Segway rental. Big kite store. Food. A very nice place for a pic-nic. And in May and September, two very large kite festivals that bring... More
