I came here with 3 friends in February. I snowboard, but I am very much a beginner. I had only been snowboarding 1 other time prior several weeks before at a small ski resort in Colorado. I thought Devil's Head was awesome. Yes, it was small and the hills were mild, but for the Midwest, where we don't really have... More

Devil's Head offers a pretty good wealth of challenges for MIdwest skiing. When the weather is good, there are many challenging runs that offer a good day's worth of skiing going back and forth between half-a-dozen runs. While it can be expensive, definitely worth a full day's skiing to hit a lot of different runs. More

Went with two families & their teenage kids. First off the ski conditions were atrocious. The sun came out on the first day turning the slopes into a giant slushy by noon. On the second day there was no sun and we skied a giant ice sheet. All that being said, we had a great time. The limited number of... More

We've been coming here for years. The trails are generally well maintained and monitored by the ski patrol so that out of control skiers are not an issue. The Inn rooms desperately need updating (cinder block walls - really!). The condos however are fabulous. They are beautifully outfitted and great for multiple families skiing together. More

As long as it has snowed recently...and is not all made snow, it is a great place to go and spend the day snowboarding or skiing. Short lines, good bar, lots of runs. Its not Colorado or other popular mountain locations...but for inexpensive, non mountain range snowboarding...it is a good time. More

Our family just returned from a weekend skiing at Devils Head. We were all pleasantly surprised at this semi-local resort. We traveled with another family, and between both families we had 6 kids -ages 7,7,6,5,4,3. The five older kids were all beginning skiers (had been a few times at Wilmot)....so we signed them up for the ski school. For the... More

Devil's Head is a well-run resort with reasonable lift ticket prices. Despite an early-season lack of natural snow, they had multiple challenging runs open. Lift operators and ski patrol members were friendly. More

Stayed at the Devil's Head Resort in the "A" wing for a wedding a few weekends ago. I didn't expect a whole lot, and I'm glad I didn't! The positive was the friendly check-in staff. However, I felt like I was in a college dorm -- cinderblock walls, old bedding and towels, a low-ceiling bathroom. The flat-screen TV seemed out... More

Moldy and damp. Leaky faucets. Trickle for a shower. Filthy carpets. Smell literally makes me gag. Flat, misshapen, lumpy pillows. Thirty year old bedding, itchy and scratchy. Thin worn towels. 13" TV with about 5 channels. Coffee maker, but no coffee cups. Didn't replinish drinking glasses, ran out first day since I was using them for coffee. Didn't clean coffee... More
