I spent an hour or so around the gardens. They have benches to sit and look at the lake or the flowers. The flowers are beautiful and you can tell that the gardeners take pride in their jobs.

Been by so many times on the bike trail-took the time to stop and see it and glad we did. The amount of work that goes into this beautiful and serene setting is astounding. Take the time to appreciate the history and the views as well as the breathtaking garden/plantings. A Must See in the area. Thank you Mrs. West!!

This place was a wonderful stop. The gardens are well worth visiting and, unbelievably, it's free. It's also right on the Mariners Trail so you can ride bikes there.

This is a large, beautiful garden. Located directly on the lake. Amazingly large grounds with lots of trees and flowers. Each area is a collection of related or typed flora. A free map is available that describes each area.

We were heading to Two Rivers and saw this place on Lake Michigan and decided to stop. What a nice surprise. Beautiful gardens and wonderful view of the lake. Spoke with the head gardener who gave us a nice overview of the history of the place. Very nice restrooms, walking areas, parking and free! There is access to the glassed... More

This is on a wonderful bike trail from Two Rivers to Manitowoc. The flower beds are manicured, not a blade out of site. The blooms are lush and frahrant. The view of the lake is stunning. Gardners are everywhere, so you can ask questions. And it is all free!

If you like a garden setting you well like this. You get some history and a lot of flowers. It is easy to find along the lakeshore on Memorial Drive. Right across from Dairy Queen.

When I ride my bicycle South from Two Rivers along the Mariner's Trail (running parallel to Memorial Drive,) these gardens are a great place to stop and take a break, rehydrate, and enjoy the beautiful flowers and cool lake breezes. And as everyone else has said, the gardens ARE lovely. And entry IS free. And it's a private foundation that... More
