Brewery is your typical small town micro brewey. In house tap room is very nice and prices are really good.

Interesting local brewery, it is more of a tiny local bar type. I goto breweries with beer gardens to get away from the bar type feel so this brewery wasn't my personal favorite. We caught the tail end of a brewery tour, the guide was very knowledgable, it was a large group so it was a little hard to hear... More

We shared the 7 beer tasting and had fun commenting on the various IPAs. We preferred the stouter beers. The root beer was greatly enjoyed and we ordered some pretzels and mustard to go with the beers. The band outside on the patio was excellent, especially the fiddler. Warm family atmosphere with several groups on blankets on the grass around... More

We were told to go check this place out when we were in Lake Mills. We had never heard of it, but my husband is a brewer and we were excited to check it out. What a cool place. The guy behind the bar (sorry I don't know his name!) was great. He and my husband talked about beer and... More

They have great beers year round, but I really enjoy the seasonals. They almost always have a large selection to choose from and there is often something different. Most of the bartenders are fun and helpful. Free, live performances Friday nights during the summer and year-round on Saturday nights. Bring your own dinner and make an evening of it listening... I recently stopped at this brewery with friends for a club meeting on a Friday night and we had a blast! The patio was perfect and we grilled steaks. The beer was wonderful, especially their limited edition brews which were absolutely delicious! The bartender was very nice and we met some really nice people inside that were having as much... More

If you like "hoppy" beer, Tyranena is a pint of paradise. The IPA is the best anywhere, the rest of the year-round offerings are outstanding, the seasonals are great, the labels are creative and usually reference local legends, and they make a fine root beer for those who prefer a non-alcoholic option. They get big points for paying for a... More

A couple things makes this brewery a different place to visit. #1 it is all about their beer. They do not serve food, but you are welcome to bring your own or order some local fare to be delivered. Also, it's family and dog friendly (assuming your dog is friendly!). Best time for the family is on a nice Saturday... More

Great beer off the beaten path. Enjoyed the atmosphere, Jen the bartender was great to talk to - she knew the beer and had interesting stories of her world travels. The band was a little mix of polka and country, but everyone was dancing & enjoying themselves. Not sure if they do tours, and we got there just before 8pm... More

You can find their beer in bottles in lots of places but the trip to the brewery is worth it! The last couple years I've made it a point to visit them for their Beer Run half (and 1/6) marathon. On other visits I have made use of their tasting room and patio. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable about the... More
