This is a great microbrewery in a factory-like environment. No nonsense, just good beer. In summer grills are available outside for patrons to cook their own dinner while entertainment is provided. But even if you do not care to cook the beers are well worth your trip.

Hip and arty atmosphere without being pretentious, and located in a beautiful town too. Our kids played frisbee on the adjacent lawn while we sampled. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and didn't laugh when we asked how to pronounce the name.

The brewing company is much like a bar setup. The staff was very friendly and informative if you asked questions, but if you did not they didn't offer information. We enjoyed a sample flight at our table, but had little interaction with bartender, however he was busy waiting on regular customers who were there enjoying a beer.

Great beer, friendly service. It's in an industrial area, near residences, not much around but worth the trip just to come here. Highly recommend for a laid back, fun time.

Stopped with friends. The beer and appetizers were very good. Inside the service was attentive and quick. Pricing is good. The outside service was non-existent. Patio plantings need serious attention as the weeds were prevalent and many exceed three feet tall. Overall a nice time and worth the visit if you like craft beer.

Tyranena is a wonderful, small, quaint and friendly brewery in the small community of Lake Mills, Wisconsin. If you show up on Saturday afternoon as we did, you can get in on their tour of the brew house, which is spotless and well organized. Even though they are small, they have a bottling line, so you can buy their brews... More

One of the benefits that a smaller brewery such as Tyranena has is the level of access they can give their guests on brewery tours. We toured the brewery on a Saturday afternoon (tour is free, no free drinks provided - you can buy at the bar for around $5 a pint). There were six people total taking the tour,... More

Love the variety of beer and the staff were very friendly. The assortment of micro brews will please everyone. Got a bowl of pretzels and mustard for dipping to go with our beer. A fun place to have a few beers. Live music on Saturday night

Like: Beer selection changes from time to time with some additions they don't bottle. Friendly local crowd, generally quiet and relaxed. Dislike: TV's are on football, but they play music rather than have the sound on for the game. I would be there more often if the games were on.

We passed on the tour. However the bar area was good. A decent amount of choices OR you could have a sampler of 6 beers. We got a growler to go...and for ONLY $10! Food is not served...however they have a list of places that will deliver to the brewery.
