Still a fun place

Of course it's not the same as it was 40 years ago, but it's still a good place to sun and cool off.

This is a FANTASTIC place to sunbathe, walk, relax! The beach is wonderful - there are life guards - you can walk in to town & grab a bite to eat any of the convenient food locations or grab a beer! It is a awesome place!!!

Great beach with a great view of the lake and some amazing mansions. Parking is $1.00/hour if you park right by the beach. A short walk to the Riviera building for snacks, drinks, and bathroom. Clean, great sand, and a pleasant experience in a great town.

This is a beautiful beach that is the only real beach on Lake Geneva. (There is a tiny strip of sand along the road at Bigfoot Beach State Park, but it is not much and really right on the road if you have little kids). So you have to pay $7 per person to get on this beach, but you... More

We purchased our passes at the kiosk outside the beach and received our wristbands in the morning. I didn't notice an age limit for a child pass at the kiosk when I purchased the passes. When my two teenagers went to get something at the car in the afternoon they were not allowed re-entry. The same lady who gave us... More

Lake Geneva is a small well-off town. Tourist trap. So they'll nickle-and-dime you to death. Parking and traffic is a nightmare. You have to pay for it. $1 an hour and you can pay at machines on the sidewalks. Cash and credit is accepted. It's $7 for adults and $4 for kids 7-12. Which is ridiculous but it is a... More

Our favorite beach. There's a fee to enter. Not big, totally affordable. Great water, clean bathrooms. Could use more toilet stalls and less shower stalls. Maybe more outdoor rinse stations instead. Don't bring glass- we forgot we had Starbucks bottles in the cooler and they were confiscated. Unfortunately by the time you leave at the end of the day they... More

Very clean and well maintained. The sand is soft with some pebbles in it. You will have a great time here. There is a nice overlook area that is free if you don't want to step on the beach.

Riviera beach is only beach in the main area of Lake Geneva and it has admission fees for above 6 year olds. As we paid $7 for adults. I had high expectations. Beach was clean as they don't allow glass, alcohol, smoking etc. but water was not so clean as I expected. But it was fun. If you have glass... More
