Cleaner than it used to be, but still too narrow.

This beach was historically overrun with seaweed, crowded and too narrow. The seaweed has been removed and the beach was less crowded but it's still much too narrow for... read more

We travel to several state parks every year and prefer them for their cleanliness and vast trails and nature. This park however is very small smack dab in the middle of a VERY busy city. The beach is across a highly traveled busy street. I wouldnt even call it a beack its a ditch. Very dangerous with young children the... More

This beach was historically overrun with seaweed, crowded and too narrow. The seaweed has been removed and the beach was less crowded but it's still much too narrow for sunbathing and family fun.

In years past, I would have rated this state park below average. It's quite small, so if you are looking to hike or bike in the park, you won't find much. But if you want to camp right in Lake Geneva, this park has a great location. Big Foot Beach itself is not a great beach; it is small and... More

While some of the reviews were negative I felt I had to write. We use an RV site with electric. Bathrooms have been redone and they have great family style showers/bathrooms. Very clean, very nice. Bugs are expected at camping but I have seen worse. My only complaint...put some garbage cans up. Dogs are welcome but not many places to... More

If you are a camper and plan to visit Lake Geneva this is a good enough park to stay at for your visit. Not the best state park in the Wisconsin state park system but features a serviceable campground and a new shower building this year. The rules are a little strange, no alcohol is permitted anywhere in the park... More

We spend few hours in the park before our activities in the lake geneva area. For non-wisconsion residents there is $10 day fee for car parking. The park had a nice playground area for the kids and a valley ball court is also available. The park is well maintained and had picnic tables, grills and rest rooms available.

We went to this campground for a family weekend getaway during the third week of July ‘15. The consensus from all of us was that this place was a perfect location. Coming from the Chicago area, Big Foot State Park is convenient and has lots to offer. The Park Rangers are friendly and make certain all campers are quiet and... More

There is only about 6.5 miles of hiking paths and some of them run together, but they are well marked and easy to walk. Great scenery along the way. I didn't camp, but the campsites looked amazing. They were actual designated spots with little gravel driveways, so it was clear where your area is. You don't always see that! Plenty... More

It's inexpensive and some of the sites are secluded. There are trails, fishing, volleyball and horseshoes - they'll even lend you the equipment. You're too far from town to walk and there is NO alcohol although we didn't have any problems. Just drink out of plastic cups.
