Loved the quiet walk along the path with up close views of beautiful homes and mansions. Easy access from the town of Lake Geneva. I look forward to walking other parts of the path in other towns around the perimeter of the lake.

My husband and I are almost 50 and we completed the 21 miles in 9 hours. We stopped a few times to eat snacks, rest our feet and chat with other walkers. We used the free parking two blocks north of the library in lake geneva. We walked counterclockwise. This was tough for the last six miles but we enjoyed... More

Beautiful views of lake and homes…great exercise and you can walk all the way around the lake or do a little each day.

We started the walk at Williams Bay for two reasons-the parking there is free (unlike at Geneva) and there are some nice restaurant choices. Also, there are restrooms at the shop attached to Pier 290-you won't find many elsewhere! At times, we felt a bit uncomfortable walking through people's back gardens, especially when they were sitting by the path or... More

I have been here so many times it's gorgeous but it's so busy. If I am on beach I want mostly me time and here you don't get it. But still it's so beautiful place to be. I went for first time in April 2009 and it was frozen no people around and I 'can not' take that picture out... More

You have to do this walk when you are in Lake Geneva. Not only do you get to walk along the shore of the lake, you get an up close look at the magnificent homes and gardens that line it. The only drawback is that there is no easy way to get back to where you started unless you have... More

As I create this review from the hot tub I am soaking in now.. This adventure took me about 7 hrs which included breaks equaling 30 mins total. Beautiful day, great scenic views, many challenging areas along the way, but such an amazing feeling of accomplishment! Tips if you plan to do the entire hike: 1) Carry a backpack with... More

The 21 mile walk around Lake Geneva is amazing. This has to be one of the best walking experiences in America. A few hints: * break it up according to your ability. Our hotel gave us the number for a cab company and we had a cab pick us up after 12 miles and drop us off at the same... More

Today my husband and I in our 60's completed the 21 mile trip around the Shore Path plus a few more. The views were breath taking. Loved the white house with the saying on the fence and a place to sit and pray if we chose too! It was a peaceful stop and a great place to find rest. Other... More

The walk is very interesting and has beautiful sights. Especially the house with the fence with all the sayings. My only suggestion is that some of the property owners should fix up their paths a bit. Some were rough and unkempt. Most were very well kept.
