Did the entire lake (21.6 miles +/-). Took just under 6 1/2 hours, total walking time with a lunch break at Chuck's and a beer at Pier 290. The longest distance I had ever traveled was, 3.5 mile jog or 20 mile bike ride. I am in pretty good shape, but should have prepared a little more for the distance.... More

It's possible to walk the whole 24 miles if you get an early start. Many people walk a portion. Great views of boats and homes.

We've been going to Lake Geneva for sometime. Just 2 night trips, dinner and downtown browsing. This time we had stayed an extra day and were told at the office desk about the path. What an awesome experience! Seeing the beautiful, walking this gorgeous trail through these beautiful yards! Some dirt paths, some paved. Some manicured, some decorated, some natural.... More

Super fun for walking around the lake. You can check out the beautiful views of the lake Geneva. You also are walking in a park like setting within the back yards of some really fine homes.

I did the whole trail today (Thanksgiving Day 2015). The rain made it not so fun, but the trail is really great. It took me about 8 hours. As a previous reviewer said, at this time of year, you have to walk around a lot of docks stored on shore. The trail was easy to follow the whole way, even... More

The lake shore path is easy to pick up by the beach or in front of the Bella Vista suites hotel and you can it take it either direction, though unless you want to go all the way around (which would take close to a day if you break for lunch -26 miles or something like that), you'll have to... We parked downtown Lake Geneva and turned left on the trail. All the boat slips were on shore, so sometimes difficult to navigate the trail. We walked 1.5 miles, and got to see some big houses before turning around. Plan on going next year to do the whole lake trail.
