Love taking the path from Williams Bay going towards Fontana or towards Lake Geneva. It is a hike so be prepared to bring so water and maybe even a small snack. It is a must do if in the area on a nice day. Fun to look at all the houses and boats along the path.

There are various starting points for this path. Downtown Lake Geneva, Williams Bay, Fontana and other areas. The whole path encircles this beautiful lake, 7 miles across, and one of the deepest in Wisconsin. The lake was carved out but a huge glaciers thousands of years ago. It can be flat and easy in areas, but also strenuous in others.... More

We enjoyed a half day hike along the lake and viewed spectacular house and views of the lake. Truly a gem in the area and a must do activity!

Just an amazing path. The houses are wonderful to see and the history that goes with them. Walked after the boat cruise and getting close to some of the historic houses takes you back in time

Only did a small portion, looking forward to spedning more time on this trail. The trail meanders along the lake shore, crossing over private properties along the way. Very picturesque and interesting.

My wife and i had a great walk we started downtown and kept walking until we couldn't wait any longer...we needed food and a bathroom! The homes are beautiful, it's great way to connect with a loved one. We hiked up the hill and found Foley's to be a nice retreat for a local WI lunch and bathroom. Another couple... More

We enjoyed our hike and can't wait to come back for more. We kept wanting to go further to see what was around the next bend. If you're in Lake Geneva you have to at least do a short part of the path!

This path is wonderful! Doesn't matter how many times we walk it, we always enjoy it immensly! A tip, start downtown, park by the lake and walk to the right. This is the best kept part of the path. This last time we did that, then the following day we thought it would be fun to drive to the other... More

We only walked about a mile and a half, in the snow, in 17* weather, but was very enjoyable. We even met a few other couples on the path!

I live in Lake Geneva and this is an attraction my husband and I use every year. It is a great way to see the scenery around the lake as well as look at the beautiful lake houses up close. The walk is divided up into approx 8 segments. I would recommend buying the Walk, Talk and Gawk guide before... More
