I really appreciate the fact the city has made such a beautiful park on the river. It is always busy with people doing all sorts of things from watching the boat traffic to walking the pathways to playing Frisbee on the grass. And the fantastic light show at Christmas time if second to none!

I have always liked the park-they have really done a superb job of upgrading it. I used to go to the National Fish Controls Lab., before it moved. The International Peace Garden is beautiful. I am adding a few pictures of the blazing hills along the Mississippi and on the apple orchard trail in LaCrescent. In addition to the fall colors,... More

Amazing river views. Love walking along the water's edge and through the park. Don't miss the international gardens at the north end. One of the places we love most about La Crosse. Don't forget to position yourself for a great view of the two bridges (convex and concave). Love it.

A nice place to enjoy the Mississippi, and understand the history of the region. Easy access and good interpretation.

We stayed at the Radisson and had the Riverside Park directly in front of us. Great views, safe place to exercise, and best location! We plan to return in December to enjoy the Christmas lights and festivities.

12 months of the year - always a great time to visit Riverside Park. The mighty Mississippi changes from day to day as does the river traffic. Always interesting.

Don't miss this beautiful, clean, and well cared park on the banks of the Mississippi River. There is a visitor information center, paved walks, and beautiful vegetation. You can also look in th other direction and see the skyline of historic downtown La Crosse.

This park is right on the Mississippi and adjacent to Historic Downtown LaCrosse. There is a beautiful fountain that is on in the warm months and great space to relax or play frisbee. There are benches to sit and enjoy the scenery all around the park too. A must see if you want to go for a stroll alone or... More

I can't say there was anything special about the park but it is very pretty. You can walk along the Mississippi and there's an international garden that's pretty. If you are in La Crosse you should stop by the park and take a walk.
