This is a nice park stretching along the east side of the river. Good boat watching and people watching. Easy walk from the downtown area and lots of hotels and restaurants in the area. Neat chance to get close to the barges and get a sense of what the river means to the area and it's history. Would recommend it... More

Every time we are in Lacrosse we go to Riverside Park. Love to walk around and just take in the view. Went there on a Sunday eve after we had dinner and people were just sitting around playing guitars and very peaceful. Envy the people who have this at they're disposal all the time!!

We stayed at the Radisson Hotel downtown and walked out the front door right into the park. It was a beautiful way to end the day. We strolled the rivers edge and sat and listened to some music that a gentleman was playing on his guitar just a few benches down from us. A well maintained and a wonderful addition... More

Lots of beautiful flowers, well manicured lawns, just awesome. Nice walk along the Mississippi. Seagulls and Mallard ducks near the shore.

During an August visit, this park was immaculate, flowers and trees well-maintained--no wonder weddings are sited here! On Saturday mornings, a lovely farmers market is held--beautiful flowers alongside fresh fruits and veggies!

This is a beautiful park. A group of young ladies were sitting in a circle visiting, multi-generational families were having fun together waiting for the riverboat ride on the north end of the park. There were wedding parties having their pictures taken in the beautiful gardens, also on the north end. We caught a little of the farmers' market as... More

At the North end of Riverside Park, there is an small botanical garden that is so cool to visit by all ages. Many paths inside of it to explore, waterfalls to see, and neat structures to admire. Was definitely a highlight!

Love the board walk. We never come to La Crosse without going directly to the Park. It is the place to be in La Crosse. Walk the boardwalk and feel safe enjoying the view day and night.
