Great park .... but don't make the mistake I did with not knowing that during River-fest ,you cannot walk from the Grandstay Hotel along the banks of the Mississippi River without paying 10 dollars for a button pass. There are no posted signs saying you need to have a PASS .What a rip off... for a tourist from out of... More

Riverside Park is a beautiful, relaxing, fun introduction to the city from the Mississippi river. From Duck & bird feeding or watching, to strolling along the river, or taking a walk through the International Garden, what a great way to unwind and get connected to one's self again. The landscaping is well taken care of and full of ideas. A... More

One of the area's most beautiful parks. Where the rivers meet. With the around the world gardens, big Indian statute and eagle statute. Culture abounds. Also enjoy Pettibone park, which is directly across the river.

This beautiful park along the Mississippi is a must see when visiting La Crosse. Throughout the year there are many things going on, but even when there is nothing going on, it is a beautiful place to take a walk. Watch the boats go by, see families relaxing, and others enjoying the sunshine. This is close to the downtown with... More

Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Loved the peace and quiet, watched the little ducklings with their parents feeding!

Just a few blocks' walk from downtown, this park offers a decent amount of paved paths to walk along the river on. There are plenty of grassy areas where you can picnic too. I recommend stopping at the Pearl for an ice cream cone on your way down.

You can take a long stroll along the river bank, feed the ducks, visit an interesting museum (only $2) take a boat cruise, enjoy a lovely garden. You might even get to hear a concert in the bandstand. A jazz orchestra was playing the night we were there.

Beautiful river walk. A city band was playing in the park. A lovely sunset. What more could you ask for...perfect evening for a stroll with that special someone.

This park is so beautiful. Located on the Mississippi and La Crosse Rivers, there is a lot to see and do. You can tour the museum (small fee), walk the gardens, hike or bike on a trail, or take a ride on a riverboat ( various prices for tours). Convenient parking and close to downtown.
