They have great ice cream to purchase and real soda. Then after we have our ice cream treats, we always buy some homemade candies or candies when I was a kid. It's so great that there are still places like this around the area. It's a lot of fun every time we go there!

There is no greater place in Wisconsin to get ice cream treats! I always get the chocolate malt, which is perfect! They also have a huge selection of homemade candies which are also delicious. Chad is the nicest guy, and always greets you with a hello and a smile!

Great ice cream Sundays that bring back memories I of childhood and years lived in La Crosse. I love to be able to select chocolates.

My parents brought me here a couple weeks ago. They told me they used to bring my oldest siblings here in the 60's. I fell in love with this place right away. The nostalgic atmosphere brings a person back in time. We had ice cream that was fabulous! We come up from Winona and have been here 3 times in... More

Anise candy that will warm you thru and thru.... More

This little sweet shop is nearly exactly as it was when it opened back in the 1920s. All the ice cream is still homemade, the same way it was back then! And all the chocolates are handmade--divine. They have sugar-free, nut-free, and other diet accommodations. I get the "kids cone," which is the perfect size and only $1. Everything is... More

The Sweet Shop has been in business for at least 5 generations. Little has changed in this small quaint store. Homemade ice cream and candies continue to be made in the very same way. This technique makes the best cones, sundaes, shakes, and malts. Each homemade, hand dipped chocolate tastes heavenly. Love food and anise suckers have been seasonal favorites... More
