Fun place for kids to explore, learn, and experience new adventures. Definitely a plus to have something indoors during the cold Midwest winters. There are activities for children of all ages even toddlers have an enclosed area to explore. They have a climbing wall for kids to try out new skills. Staff secures harnesses and are attentive for safety.

Nice faculty. Lots of good activities for children to see and is a very interactive learning experience. The New Year's Eve activity was a blast. Kids also liked the dinosaur maze.

This museum is smaller than others we've visited, but every exhibit is well done. There's an awesome rock climbing wall downstairs. Staff was friendly and helpful. This museum participates in the ASTC Travel Passport program; much appreciated and highly recommend for a few fun hours in La Crosse!

This is an excellent aspect of La Crosse. The Children's Museum truly rivals Madison's and Chicago's. The only one I would say is better is the one in Indianapolis. Kids can easily spend the better part of a day there, holiday activities and special events are always going on, birthday parties can be celebrated there and special exhibits travel to... More

My 3 girls, ages 9,7,5 all enjoyed themselves and could have stayed longer! Lots of opportunity for imaginative play and learning. Wall climbing was a huge plus and they went back a couple times. Personally, between Rochester, Twin Cities and LaCrosse children's museums, this is our fave.

Whether you choose to go once a week, once a month, or once a year, time spent here is so valuable to the growing minds of children. If you haven't been yet, what are you waiting for? It's a wonderful place!

The museum has three levels, we explored two which might be why I think it is better for toddlers than other ages. The second level has a tree house, a replica of a local convenience store and other hometown places. The kids had fun using their imaginations to do what parents do. Plan for your trip to be between an... More

I've been to quite a few children's museums over the last couple of years. This was our least favorite so far. It took about an hour to go through the whole place and my 4 year old was ready to go. There was only 2 shopping carts in the kwik trip and kids were taking all the food out of... More

Great museum for little ones. I took my almost 1 year old here, while she was a little too young for it there were still many activities to enjoy. I'd say about 2-6 year olds would like it best, but some activities for older ones, like the rock climbing wall.
