It is important sometimes to get a big picture of where you are and what you are doing. Go to the top of Grandad Bluff and be in awe on this fabulous view. Construction job well done and worthy of your time.

If visiting La Crosse, this is a must stop. The winding Bliss Road to travel to the bluff is an exciting little drive but nothing compared to the view of beautiful Grandad Bluff. With recent renovations and safety measures taken, it is not only much safer to visit but much more beautiful to visit. The views are spectacular, being able... More

The drive up granddad's bluff and the view are nice. We didn't do any hiking but it was a pretty view - there just wasn't a ton to see. You could see the Mississippi and across the distance so I'd do it again but it's a basic bluff overlook.

Grandad Bluff was just a short ride from downtown LaCrosse. Views of the whole city were amazing. To see three states from up there was pretty cool. WI, IA, and MN.

Park about a third of the way up. Walk up to the park display. Great views of the river. A very nice park at the top. One of the very nice walks with many more to choose from.

This is a great little spot for a panoramic view of the Mississippi River Valley around La Crosse. If you're looking for fun stuff to do, this isn't really it. It's just a simple, scenic overlook. Particularly nice during Fall.

If you are are visiting the area and only have time for a couple stops, this should be one of them. Great overlook of the city and surrounding area. You really can see for miles up and down the valley. We were there during some fog and couldn't see much at all but luckily had time to come back when... More
