It has something for everyone in the whole family. Nice selection of cheeses, wines, dips, spreads, condiments, etc. It is bright and clean with helpful staff. Best of all is the reuben you should try for lunch when you are visiting.

Overpriced inventory that you can get at any local grocery store. Cool building but that doesn't make up for it. The original owner would probably not be impressed. A positive is that they seem hire the young people from the area.

What can I say, this is a tourist trap plain and simple. But it's a joyful and fun must stop for travelling between Wisconsin and Illinois. Mars knows their cheese with local and worldwide variety. And the best kept secret is their own brand of spreadables, particularly King of Clubs (cheddar) and Queen of Clubs (swiss & almond). So good... More

We stopped at the cheese castle on our way home and was surprised upon entry what all this place has to offer. They of course have cheese and lots of it, they also have various forms of summer sausages, like elk, venison, bison. They also have a wide selection of beer, wine and they have a bakery and tavern inside... More

Stopped at the Mar's Cheese Castle on our way home and found it a delightful little place with a wide assortment of items for purchase. Included was cheese, gifts, snacks and sweets. Well worth the small detour off the highway to visit.

So much more than just cheese. With the theme of a castle being both inside and out with the shape of the building literally being a castle. An on premises bakery, bar, mini restaurant, sausage, free samples. A great little unique stop.

Passed here many times, but this time decided to stop. They have so much. Loved sampling cheeses and sausages. A large variety of cheese and sausage along with many other products, from bakery to wines.

Very touristy, cheese price and variety are better at Woodman's down the road. They have a pub on site, the have Wisconsin souvenirs, a bakery, liquor sales and worth a stop to experience, everyone knows about the place. It's on US 94 so you can't miss it.

We stopped here on our way out for lunch and to check out it. I had the Kings Ransom Sandwich and it was amazing! Get the potato salad warmed as a side! My husband had the Meatball Bomber and he said it was okay. Nice selection of local wines. I expected more cheeses and more sampling stations. Nice place overall... More
