My daughters and I were able to see the premiere of the 2014 fabulous Holiday Light Show as part of the Taste of Chocolate Event at the Janesville Rotary Botanical Gardens. The holiday lights were amazing - thousands upon thousands of lights in very beautiful and festive displays. The regular cost is only $5 for adults and $3 for children... More

Rotary Gardens has been growing for a decade now. It is meticulously tended by its staff and volunteers. We go many times a year to see how it changes from season to season. The bulbs and Christmas light show are a favorite. It is a wonderful place to walk, relax and contemplate.

A stop at Rotary Gardens is well worth the trip and plan on spending a couple hours. The focus is on annuals so a trip anytime after mid July is recommended. My first visit was in June and was very disappointed. I returned this year not expecting much in August but I was blown away!! It was gourgeous.

One of the best botanical gardens in the state. 20 acres of pure beauty. Bring your camera. We visited the gardens in the beginning of October and were surprised as to the variety of flowers still blooming.

En route to our hotel, we had some time to fill, and it was a beautiful day, so we decided to stop at the garden. So glad we did! The gardens were still lovely on October 10. A walk through the gardens takes you through English and French gardens, woodland gardens, a Japanese garden, a Scottish garden, a sunken garden,... More

Looking for "Things to do" and searching Tripadvisor before stopping in Janesville, Wisconsin on a weekend outing brought us to the Rotary Botanical Gardens. We so enjoyed our visit to these lovely, lovely, very well cared for grounds. The whole attraction is well planned and has a large variety of plants and trees, and water and theme areas. Walking through... More

Amazingly beautiful. Very unique configuration. Something for all ages to see and do. Tremendous variety of color both in annuals and perennials. Yesterday was our 5th or 6th visit to the gardens. We were escorted around by friends who also volunteer there and we never cease to be amazed. The care and pride of all who work there is evident.... More

After our visit I definitely understand why the Rotary Gardens have had such great reviews! The gardens include a great selection of plants, flowers and trees - not to mention some beautiful views around the lake. Very well maintained with plenty of seating around the gardens to sit and relax. Our walk through took a little over an hour though... More

What a wonderful place! There is so much to see here. I've never been here before and can't wait to go back. So many different gardens in one location. The Japanese Garden was beautiful as was the children's garden. My husband and I have been to gardens in Omaha, Chicago and Milwaukee and this ranks with those. We had a... More
