We go to the gardens at least once a year. You can spend quite a bit of time strolling on the walkways taking in all of the flowers. I recommend going for the Mother's Day buffet.

We live not far from Rotary Gardens so I have been numerous times with family and friends over the years. As residents of Janesville, we are fortunate to have this as a community asset. We partial to going in the warmer months, but activities go year round, including a fantastic light show near the holidays. Along with all the flowers,... More

My cousin volunteers here and has posted wonderful pictures on Facebook. While I visited her, I asked her to show me the garden. What a treat! There are several areas to appeal to the child in all of us, areas designed for our senses (I didn't taste anything but there were herbs and foods), areas to stimulate and others to... More

My wife wanted to go the the plant sale at the Gardens, and the entire family had to come along. The gardens themselves are beautiful, and apparently cared for by volunteers for the most part. I especially enjoyed the Japanese gardens...perfect for quiet contemplation. My father in law thought the formal gardens looked like they were brought from Versailles. The... More
