This is a beautiful place to visit if you are ever in Janesville. I highly recommend it and I take friends there when they visit. It is a great place for weddings and for special photos.

This botanical garden includes numerous theme gardens, a Japanese bridge over a spring-fed pond, various pieces of garden art and hardscapes and an attractive headquarters building with bathrooms. Each year, the staff redesigns some of the garden spaces while keeping others the same. Friendly staff, an asphalt parking lot, a second-story balcony that looks out over the French and Italian... This is a little treasure that is worth traveling to visit. I live here but go to other gardens and we hold our own if not surpass others. The holiday lights are VERY nice and in the past few years have been VERY well attended. Meaning: get there early or come later after the rush has passed. Young kids will... More

Yesterday we attended the Mother's Day Brunch at the Gardens. It was catered by Best Events of Janesville. The ambience & food was delicious. We had excellent service & other than the rain it was a perfect day. We were able to tour the gardens also but it was way to cold & rainy.

Numerous theme gardens, each with it's own personality, surrounding a pond that is spring fed. Many benches to sit on and listen to the birds and just relax. You forget you are in a city. My favorite place to go to relax.

The gardens are a beautiful place to visit year-round. They have a plethora of events throughout the summer and an incredible light show over the winter holidays. The different themed gardens provide a cool atmosphere for all visitors. The volunteers are very welcoming, as well. I've been visiting the gardens since I was very young and it will always have... Wonderful family memories made at winter wonderland events and kids events. I especially enjoyed when Mercy sponsored a May day event a couple years ago and when Lois Elhert read and signed books. I'd like more Free children's events.

The gardens are a local favorite. The different themes and variety of flowers & plants are amazing. Many wedding ceremonies are held here. The gardens are just as beautiful in winter when the gardens are decorated with thousands of lights for Christmas. Bring your camera for inspiring photos, take a relaxing and or romantic walk during any season.

We have visited numerous times. This is a first rate botanical garden. It's very well maintained with a large variety of plants. There is also a large pond to walk around. Many benches and perfect spots to eat lunch and read a book. There is a nice gift shop with unique items. For a small entrance fee, this makes for... More
