There wasn't anything I didn't like. Love the wine taste testing and naturally bought too many things to bring home!

We stumbled on this hidden gem on Highway 2 on our way to Madeline Island for a relaxing weekend. We sampled some of the Mead with the owner, and my wife complained to him that she loves wine coolers, but most Wine Coolers commercially produced contain Gluten. He reached into his cooler and had her sample his own version called... More

During our Staycation in Bayfield County, we visited Iron River and the White Winter Winery. There is a small coffee house inside, along with a small gift shop and tasting bar. Nice building - easy to find in this small town. White Winter specializes in Mead wines - honey based. Fans of the Tudors or Game of Thrones would appreciate... More

White Winter Winery is an awesome spot to pick up my favorite local mead. However, even more exciting is starting this winter, they now serve coffee and specialty coffee drinks. Finally, a spot to get great coffee in Iron River! Plus, they open at 6 am during the week so I can hit them up before I leave for work.... More

Nice facilities, inside and out. Customers are limited to 3 wine taste choices, but I know we had more. Very nice wines, with nice selection, most of the choices are on the sweet side.,

Stopped here while traveling thru on highway 2. Nice little place. You get to sample their wine and if you like purchase some wine they produce. If it nice outside their entry has some tables and I saw several people enjoying a lunch and reading a book. They bottle several types of mead based wine.

We've stopped here twice in the last two years and have enjoyed both stops. For $5 you can do a tasting of all the open bottles at the bar. They usually have 10 open. It's a good deal. My husband and I were in Napa and Sonoma in March and their wine tasting are much more expensive ($20-25 and you... More

We always visit near the holidays to pick some local meads as gifts for family members. We're always greeted by friendly staff and get to sample several meads.

You pay $5, get all the bottles that have been opened (around 10 or so), and get to keep the wine glass! They give you a form to make notes on how you liked each offering, which really helped you make your choices.
