This museum was far more fun and fascinating than I expected. Various exhibits show the development of fishing and its related tools around the country, not just Wisconsin. Numerous mounted fish are throughout the museum, including many record setters. I personally loved the boat section inside, with some early motors and beautiful wooden boats.

Went with hubby the Hall of Fame is very intersting. You walk up a set of stairs into the guts of a giant Walleye. Inside is all sorts of trophys and such. They also have giant plexiglass freshwater fish scattered all over the property. I liked my visit very much.

We had a great time looking at the exhibits and remembering who used to have this or that. We were surprised at the number of exhibits including electric and gas motors going farther back than we imagined. There's free fishing for the kids under the Giant Muskie and photo ops a plenty.

I went there when I was younger and I really enjoyed it. It was great going to the mouth of the giant musky. I also enjoyed the fishing in that little pond.

On a weekend trip we stopped into the Hall of Fame after lunch at the Angry Minnow. The price did not match the experience. Old and outdated, this can be a place to pass on. You are pretty much paying to walk through the big muskie and see collections of stuffed birds, fish, and old fishing equipment/motors.

This museum is outdated, smells musty and is a huge disappointment. We literally laughed our way through this place. Hayward as a whole is disappointing. Save your money and time and visit somewhere else!

I have a family with three boys ranging from 8-15 years old. They all love fishing so we made the trek to the Fishing Hall of Fame. It was well worth the money. The kids and my husband loved it. The outdoor area is well taken care of and beautiful. It cost us $46 for the family. Our best deal... More

OK lets face it, you probably wont know the names of the people in here like you would major sports. You are going to get pictures of the big fish. They have lures galore, rods galore, and mounted fish. I found the place interesting as my son is a big fisherman and my buddies I work with. I agree with... More

It was fun to climb up the Muskie to see a beautiful view of Hayward. There were many interesting mounted fish. Museum and grounds were well kept and beautiful. It was fun feeding the crappies.

Being a family of avid fishermen we were all a little bit disappointed in our visit to the fishing hall of fame. For all of the advertising that you see in the area about this attraction we all thought that the price and the value was not what we had hoped for. We would warn you that if you visit... More
