A venue for vinifera, the Captain's Walk Winery offers premium grape wine tasting in a light-hearted manner. Partake in a laid back experience that usurps the snobbery out of wine while enjoying a unique tasting education. This pre-civil war house has been updated carefully to recapture 150 years of character. Plaster crown molding, the original fireplace and hardwood floors complement openings that offer viewing of the production room and cellars.

We really enjoyed our experience at this winery. Our tasting guide, Joe, was very knowledgeable and fun to spend a couple hours with. We tasted, chatted, and sampled the bistro food. We had the Antipesto grand platter and the whole thing was delicious. Our personal favourite beverages were the maple brown sugar cider and the petit sirah. Jim, the manager... More

My wife and I were there on 12/12/15 and went to the bistro portion to grab a bite to eat and try out some wine. There were other customer's in the bistro portion and we were all abandoned. It took forever for our food to arrive and the pizza was cold. Nobody came back and checked on us. We would... More

We hope you will accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you and your wife experienced here on Saturday 12/12/15. The matter has been looked into and is being dealt with. We are in the process of improving and expanding staffing/service in our kitchen and Bistro area. Though it has been our policy to have a dedicated server in the... More

The winery is inviting, staff knowledgable and a good number of different wines to chose from. Glad we had this on our list of places to visit while in town for a Packers game.

What a fantastic little winery. Went to this place in between a few other events. The wine tasting was great and the workers were very friendly and cared to share their knowledge. There was s good variety to taste and was WELL WORTH the $3!!! I highly recommend stopping by this winery. The owner was also very personable and shared... More

I was in Green Bay recently for a work meeting. My coworker and I found Captain's Walk on a whim and stopped in. It was so much fun! The person who helped us (Joe) was fun and knowledgeable. He had an easy going demeanor that was refreshing to experience. He gave great history facts about the winery and the wines.... More

Went for a tasting and appetizer before a movie. The worker who greeted us said we couldn't have food with a tasting, however others were. The server was very inattentive and then it too a long time to get cheese and crackers. On the positive side, the wine was good

Thank you for your feed back and your recent visit to Captain's Walk. It is feed back like this that can help us learn and better serve our customers. It is unfortunate that you experienced poor service while visiting our tasting room and I apologize for the inconsistency where others were served food outside (in the Tasting Room) of our... More

We had a Groupon, so we had wines paired with cheese and chocolate fondue. All of it was very good. We got wine and an opener from their shop, so check out the gadgets if you're traveling without any. We have visited many wineries, and I have to mention the carry out boxes here were the best. For obvious reasons,... More

We love to take a trip up to Green Bay, and a must stop is Captains's Walk. They have great wine, and the employees are friendly and very knowledgeable about their award winning wines. They also have functions. We have gone up there and spent the night at a local hotel, for Fundu Fest. They have delicious tapas. The employees... More

I live in Green Bay and make it a point to visit Captain's Walk a couple of times a year. Their bar tenders are so knowledgeable about the wines and very friendly. Our Book Club met here also. They have 2 upstairs rooms that are super cozy and the only "rental fee" is to buy 2 bottles of wine per... More
