Partake in a laid back experience that usurps the snobbery out of wine while enjoying a unique tasting education. This pre-civil war house has been updated carefully to recapture 150 years of character. Plaster crown molding, the original fireplace and hardwood floors complement openings that offer viewing of the production room and cellars. « less

We did a wine tasting here with friends. The building itself was a very cool historic building. There is an upstairs with some lounges. The main floor has 2 different bars. We sampled 6 different wines. The staff was great and friendly, offering up their suggestions and answering all questions we had about the wine. And the wine was good!!!

The staff was friendly and the wine good but the problem I had was we bought a case of wine and we were still charged for the wine tasting! I don't believe that was right... It wasn't like they are generous with their pours!!

The first weekend of February my husband and our wine touring bucket list buddies stopped in at Captain's Walk. We had been there four times prior to this stop and I guess that is a testiment to the quality of the wine and the camaraderie of the captain's crew. We so enjoyed this visit as we lnot only sampled some... More

This winery was absolutely amazing! The staff were all so friendly and helpful, especially the man checking us out. I am not from Green Bay and he was so helpful on where to go to get good food. I was in the mood for some famous Wisconsin cheese soup and he pointed me in the right way, and even printed... More

Stopped by their tasting room in Green Bay and my expectations were far exceeded. Jim explained and educated us on how to best enjoy the wine, background on the wine and they have a glass floor in part of the tasting room that you can see the barrels aging the wine in the cellar. Very cool visit!

We were invited to a private birthday celebration. They were friendly. What a great place to have a party. Although we stayed down stairs, we did tour the upstairs as well. The wine was GREAT!!

We stopped in on our whirlwind quest to do "fun" things in Green Bay and Captains Walk did not disappoint! PJ and Jim were extremely friendly and knowledgeable! This winery offers a good balance of dry and sweet wines! Be sure to try the dry rose--it is not your parent's Lancers or Mateus!

We spent an hour or so tasting wines here and talking with the owner. The tasting room and the winery are in a 150 year old house near downtown Green Bay. We were surprised to find out that some of the wines were made from grapes grown where we live in Washington State. The owner was interesting and friendly but... More

I took a chance and booked a package here for my sister's bachelorette party, having never been here before and not really knowing anything about it. I'm so glad I did, we had a blast! I booked a package deal for a flat $75 that included a tasting of 7 wine samples for each person (we only had 7 people,... More
