The Green Bay Botanical Garden has so much to offer year round. Spring and summer are prime time of course, to enjoy all of the beautiful blooms. Fall and Winter, including the Festival of Lights have their own beauty. There are programs and work shops year round. It truly is a jewel in the community. There is something to offer... More

We go here for the Christmas light show every year - it is fantastic! My 3 year old absolutely loves it. It gets very busy though - and there can be a long line for the bus back and forth to the parking lot. There are also snacks/food/drinks inside afterwards to warm you up!

The garden is turned into a Wonderland of lights that you can either stroll through (about 30-45 minutes) or ride through on a horse-drawn wagon (about 15 minutes, though you can also walk around in addition to the ride if you want to look at things close up. Also the wagon ride only covers the "valley." There are more lights... More

Cold weather is a given in northern Wisconsin (Great Lakes Region) and the City of Green Bay lies within this tundra area. But residents survive and even thrive during the seven months of artic frost because of the many outdoor activities that make this cold period interesting. The annual Festival of Lights is one of these events that "light up"... More

I went on a class trip with 7 year old kids and they had a great time. I've been here before and I am always enjoying something new. The landscape changes very often as the blooming season is different for all of their plant/tree species. Bring a picnic basket with your kids and enjoy some quality family time.
