Nice stuff... very knowledgeable staff

My son was shopping for a pocket knife for Boy Scouts and the knowledgeable staff directed him toward the less expensive, but better made model, which we purchased. Family-owned... read more

During our visit we made a number of purchases from the Hide Side. Unlike other stores, we were so warmly greeted by the friendly staff. We found ourselves wanting to go back more than once. A young man helped us with American made knives with enthusiasm and high knowledge of all the product lines he was selling. Most of the... More

This used to be our favorite store, until a recent visit. I purchased a expensive knife I was told was made in the USA and when i got home it was clearly marked made in China. I guess I shouldnt be so trusting of fast talking teenage boys. We will no longer be visiting this fine establishment.

If you are looking to shop in the coolest store in Door County, you have to allocate time and dollars for the Hide Side Corner Store. Top of the line leather coats, accessories, cabin furniture, knives, pistols, rifles and so much more. This place is amazing and only carries quality products. Pricing is better than anywhere we have been and... More

I tried on and loved a magnificent beaver vest during a visit to the store this summer. It was a beauty, but just a dream. Weeks later it arrived for my anniversary! My husband had worked with the owner, Jim and his son, by phone to arrange for the purchase. He said Jim was fantastic and helpful and accommodating. I... More

I've been visiting Mike and his family for 15 years....but have never purchased one of their fine coats....until now. They are second to none for leather knowledge and always the most courteous. I look forward to coming to Door County so I can stop in and "lust"! It's hard finding people who know quality product and how to sell you... More

Have been there many times, and as usual, everything there is too expensive. The upside to that is there are a lot of visitors to the Door that can afford to walk in the door. There are many unique items in the store I would love to have in my home, beautiful jewelry, fine leather. Some day I hope to... More

This was my 2nd visit to this unique store. I got a beautiful pair of turquoise earrings the first visit. There is such a variety of products here. Leather goods are a big hit. Expensive! Jewelry, home decor, sunglasses, children's items, walking sticks, art, books, you name it. I didn't find anything this time around. But it is a fun... More

This is an interesting store to walk through. Some things are pricey, like the leather jackets. But the merchandise is beautiful and you don't HAVE to buy anything...you'll just want to. Service is friendly and efficient. Our favorite shopping stop this trip.

I didn't find anything in the store that wasn't very high priced. They sell a lot of leather jackets and other leather items, as well as guns and random knick knacks (Like statues made from Motorcycle parts). The prices here seemed to be a little steep, but that's their niche.
