It has been a while since we have gone to Hands On, but we still have the artwork that our children made for us. You can paint, do ceramics, Jewelry wood projects, work with metal etc. You pay a modest fee to use the studios and then pay for whatever piece or projects you are working on, most are fairly... This was our second trip to Door County and our second trip to Hands On Art. It's a great place to relax and create. This time, we hit the ceramics shop. It's a bit pricey, but with it. Make sure you have two days. Some projects need to be picked up the day after you do them.

It rained the entire weekend in Door County and this was the PERFECT indoor activity. Kids loved it! There were so many activities to choose from and they turned out fantastic.

This was our second time here. We love it all! The owners are wonderful and very helpful. We went during the week and it was quieter. The amount of supplies is endless! You can stay for hours and hours. Bring a picnic lunch or they have food and drinks there! They do take American Express. It is a bit pricy... More

Went to Door County with two friends for a girls weekend, and we went to the adult night. We all did the fused glass; wish I'd had time to work in the jewelry studio too. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and we all had a great time. If you're there before the tourist season is in full swing (like... More

What a fun place! My husband and I came with our two daughters here, while on vacation. They had so many different options for things to make. You walk the beautiful grounds and each craft has a different building. We first went to the bead building where we each made a bracelet and also a cool metal bookmark with beads... More

Went to Friday night adult night and had a good time. Perfect way to start our Door County weekend. Lots of fun art choices such as metal welding, mosaics, and painting. No doubt a little pricey but worth it considering we don't get to Door County that often, and how often do we really get to create our own art.... More

We went to the Hands On Art Studio for their Friday Drunken Art Night (they brand it "Adult Art Night"). They have several barns/workshops with different categories of art projects in them. The night we went, we made unique designs using fragments of colored glass on clear templates (like bowls, platters and lawn ornaments). The process is: drink some wine,... More

The painted ceramics turn out very well without any smears or uneven coatings. This is a great place for children, though it does cost at least 15 dollars to participate.

Went there as part of a girl's weekend. Definitely plan on going back! Tip: if you are in Door County for multiple days, be sure to go here first, so you can pick up your finished projects the next day while you are still in town or they will have to be shipped to you.
