The Shows are entertaining. The seating is comfortable and the theatre is located in Door County so you can visit nearby attractions.
Whenever in Door County we always try to take in a show at the Peninsula Players. For those who have never been, it started strictly as an outdoor venue but over the years support for the theater has brought significant improvements and it is now completely enclosed, warm and an awesome place for entertainment. It is important that you arrive... More
Great play.....funny, engaging and professional. This was a wonderful way to spend an evening. Our friends made the arrangements and we had a very pleasent evening even though it was raining and chilly outside.
We went to see the current production of MIRACLE ON S. DIVISION STREET. We bought our tickets in the morning of the night we wanted to see it. Everything was extremely well organized, from the tickets to the parking. So, the production; which played off-Broadway. Reviews were generally good although some spotty ones calling it sort of sit-com. Well, we... More
My wife and I thought we would try this semi-outdoor playhouse, as we have been coming up to the Door for years, yet never thought of stopping here. We were pleasantly surprised, not only of the beautiful grounds right on the bay, but also the comfort of the seating, great view of the stage from any angle, high quality stage/sound... More
This place is so unique. Photos are on their website, but its best enjoyed in person. Green bldg, opens to the outdoors, heated floors, very comfy seats. See a play, see the sunset out on the beach right before, enjoy a drink. Beautiful, romantic, outdoor seating. Beautiful natural gardens and rock. Nice indirect lighting. A must see, a must do... We are from Minneapolis where there is outstanding theater so we don't necessarily expect that quality other places, especially in a small town. This measured up in every way. We walked down to the... More
I always make it a part of my trip to attend a performance at this place. The atmosphere with the bonfire and sunset makes it a perfect setting to be away and relax amongst friendly people.
