Excellent two hour tour with history and music on a high speed ride! It was nice to have the boat to ourselves. The boat holds six people, so private tour. The captain was very knowledgable about the area and even showed us a shipwreck on the sonar!

Loved the owner/tour guide! Great guy. Kids had a blast on the high speed boat. Not super packed with info, but just enough to get a taste of the history of the area. A little bit on the pricey side, but on par with other area attractions.

I highly recommend Door County Adventure for a boat tour. I have 3 sons, ages 11,9, and 5, and this trip had the perfect amount of adventure and information. Captain Matt plays awesome music, did donuts (which the boys loved, of course) and taught us about the islands. My sons thought the islands were so interesting they wanted to explore... More

The tour was absolutely amazing. Matt was totally knowledgeable about the history - it was very interesting and very exciting as well. I went with friends last summer, but I plan on taking my teenage kids this fall so they can experience it. Looking forward to it!

I would 100% recommend this tour! Our tour guide Matt was great - knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. This tour was a great mix of being part educational, part fun cruising around the way, and I love how small/private it was. It was also great to be able to bring food & drinks aboard! Definitely the highlight activity of our trip.

Captain Matt took us on the Deaths Door tour during our honeymoon in Door County in May. We had such a great time. My wife and I were the only passengers and got a roughly 2 hour guided boat tour for an extremely reasonable price! The captain does a great job mixing humor, music, history, and area knowledge into the... More

Tour was amazing! Great guide, friendly, funny and informative. We were very lucky to have calm waters and beautiful sunny weather. Always take along a jacket as it's cool on the water even in the summer months. Would definitely take another tour with this company. "Raft" was very clean and seemed very safe and he plays great adventure music too!... More

We have been going to Door County for more than 20 years so I thought that this tour would be similar to the dozens we have been on. Nope. Thrilling. Exciting. Personal. By renting the boat for a personal tour, you get an individualized experience. Matt is from Door County so he knows a lot about it, including interesting tidbits... More

Matt, the owner/operator, is a super nice, friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable guy. He combined the knowledge of someone who's locally born with the experience of a big professional Hawaii-style zodiac tour operator, where he had worked for several years. The zodiac's shallow draft allowed us to get much closer to the islands than any other boat, and as a result... More
