I loved the view. It is definitly a must see when in Door County. I have only been to Door County twice and checked the Eagle Tower out both times.

After paying the park entry fee, you might as well take advantage of this decent watch tower. It is just high enough, and open air enough to be a bit scary. It's a bit of a hike to the top, but worth the climb. Check out the small tube scope at the northwest side of the top platform--it will point... More

This is a must see view located in Peninsula State Park. Whether you are camping here or just coming for the day, I suggest you stop here. It is a little nerve racking on the way up and down as the wooden stairs are a little rickety and wobble a bit under your step but once you get to the... More

We enjoyed the view from the top. This would not be for those having trouble with stairs or afraid of heights. It was very crowded on the day we were there. I hope the tower receives regular inspections, because it seemed a little outdated and worn.

Located in Peninsula State Park, Eagle Tower is a fun climb with kids or your camera. When you reach the top, you"ll be looking out over beautiful Lake Michigan, and the 360° view also allows you to see over the tops of the forested trees. Take your camera...and put your baseball cap on backwards -- a mighty breeze usually blows!

75' up in the air, a lot of steps, very sturdy, but once I got there- what a view! Check it out- really can't go wrong. Simple and peaceful- Don't recommend for those afraid of heights or open areas- it was Windy also.

Must climb this Tower at least once to see the panoramic views of Green Bay, the nearby islands, and Ephraim Bay. Very nice - someone said there were 99 steps.

If your scared of heights the tower does sway in the wind. There were lots of people there when we were, so going up and down the steps was tricky, dodging small children both ways. Too many people on top landing to see much.
