Nicolet Bay Beach is a wonderful place to sit on your lawn chair or towel, eat a little picnic lunch, people watch, boat watch, or simply write your journal or read a book. Located in the heart of Peninsula State Park, you are surrounded by beautiful scenery here. If you forgot your snacks, no worries, there is a wonderful little... More

Well the weed patches are now in place and it looks just terrible. Used to be a really great view of the harbor, used to be a really great place to lay out in the sun. Not any more. Now we have a weed patch running down the middle of the beach area. UGLY

We hung out here twice during our stay. Aside from on July 4th itself, there was plenty of parking available and areas near the water to hangout. Liked having the snack shop and store nearby. Fun to watch the boats and just relax.

Great location and beautiful surroundings. Best of all for a public park, you have very good facilities including food to purchase.

Beach is nice and swimming area is a bit small. Snacks and restrooms are available, and kayaks/paddleboards/bikes are available for rental. Little kids enjoy playing in the calm water. Many picnic tables; nice shade!

Beautiful and peaceful place to snowshoe! Many miles of trails that are for snowshoers only....those cross-country folks have their very own trails. The frozen lake was like something from a movie, think Zhivago or Fargo!!!! A great place!

Looks as though human guests are unwanted. A great number of the plantings are already brown and dead. The tall grass will be great in a few years assuring that no one can sit in the picnic area and even see the lake! As I am not a botanist I, of course, defer to those who studied the location and... Disappointed to see fencing during the high tourist season - it is a very small beach anyway. Bathrooms were also closed!!!

Great concession stand, food, necessities, souvenirs, t shirts and sweatshirts. Beach is sometimes full of washed up seaweed....water can be cold, but large beach. Kayak rentals are great!

The beach is shallow for probably close to 1/4 of a mile. It's also clear and sandy, so it's perfect for little kids. The kids had an incredible time. But it got quite crowded, almost too crowded. But this is clearly a popular spot which is perfect on a nice hot day.
