My husband and I enjoyed the beauty of this beach within the state park on bikes. We noted many great camping sites nearby that would be for the next time we visit.

Should be rated higher, probably just being included in the park as a whole... quiet beach in a bay, no waves, shallow walk out... great for our 2 year old even though it was cold in September.

Nicolet is a wonderful secluded beach. I spent the whole afternoon there swimming and relaxing. I appreciated that it had individual shower/changing rooms. The beach also has a snack shop, a convenience store, and a bicycle rental facility.

If you are looking for sprawling break like at cave point beach it is not the place. There is close parking and a nice little store. Beach also has a rental shop for lots of water sports. Usually if we rent a boat we make a stop here as well. Of coarse the water is going to be cold it... More

Very nice, sheltered beach at in Peninsula Park. There are an ample number of tables and benches, a large grass field on which to play, a reasonably wide sandy beach, a well-stocked general store, and bicycles and watercraft to rent.

Beach is super crowded on the weekend and beach goers are a bit in considerate of the efforts to restore the nature dunes in the area.

Decent beach but overcrowded in summer time. There are other less crowded ones up the road near Ephraim.

Rented a two man kayak. The bay was a little choppy, but we had a great time. Staff was very helpful since it was our first attempt at this. Will definitely go back.

While I applaud the DNR for trying to recreate the natural dunes at Nicolet Bay Beach, it was made it less than ideal for vacationers wanting to spend time at the beach. The "new" dunes and grasses really decrease the size of this very popular beach (along with the rise of water levels in Lake Michigan). The beach was way... More

We spent a lovely afternoon at Nicloet Bay Beach. The Sunset bike trail ends at the beach, and there are multiple amenities, places to picnic, and rentals for water sports, including paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks. Very nice.
