Great place to hang out. Check out all the boats coming in, take in a swim, rent a kayak or just sit in the sand. The kids will love the beach too!

Chris K's August review is excellent, so I'll not waste space with the same details. I'll just say that the beach is very nice, and it's a great place to spend an hour or most of a day. The natural small pools on the beach make great spots for the little ones to play.

spent the afternoon there playing in the sand--seems like kids just know what to do with a bucket, shovel and sand. The water was low so there were three little lslands of sand and they were packed with kids building. Here the water was warm to spend some time in it. It was shallow for a long way out.

This is a beautiful beach. White sand, clean clear water. I loved it and I live in Florida! They also have grills so bring your own charcoal, lighter and steaks and cookout!

Great place to camp. Try to get one of the sites nearer the water.

We stayed at Penninsula State Park for 9 days over the 4th of July. We went to the beach at least 5 times. We were able to bike there from Tennison Bay campground. It is good location ,but all this rocks are just a little bit too much.Other then that is good place in the middle of the park.
