Wonderful water view

This natural area has a beautiful view of the waters of Green Bay. It is very rustic and has no water or rest rooms the last time we were there. The view is worth the trip.

It was a short drive off the main road to Ellison Bluff County Park. The views of the woods and the water are gorgeous!

My husband and I decided to check out this park. We have been to the State Parks in Door County and wanted to see something new and less crowded. It was a bit of a drive but well worth it. There are no fees for this county park and we walked the recreational trail after enjoying the views.

One night at dinner our waiter couldn't wait to tell us about the great views and secret places in the Ellison Bluff Park area. Particularly the Hedlands. We thought we knew where we were going, but somehow ended up on the most bizarre path - which was not clearly marked. We eventually descended to a rocky beach where several other... More

I actually went to the Door Bluff County park. There are no facilities there. Walking paths are not marked and you have to be half billy goat to get to the shoreline. Very treacherous! Not good for kids or people with dogs....I walked along one path for quite a while thinking I was going to get to some sort of... More

After visiting Door County for the past four years my husband and I finally visited this beautiful area. We walked along the bluffs on the trails and took in all the beauty there is to behold. The trails require some climbing and adventurous spirit if you really want to see all the beauty there is to see but it is... More

We saw a sign for a county park and took a chance. After driving for what seemed like forever on a dirt road we came upon a clearing with a small parking lot. There were only a few other people at the park, some just sitting and reading, others eating lunch. We walked out onto the boardwalk to take in... More

TL;DR : The most treacherous and enjoyable hike in Door County is near a small scenic overlook. This park is very pretty, as the bay is far below you. Many would say that the view is enough, but i enjoy a little bit of hiking. Just to the left of the scenic overlook you can hike along the cliffs while... More

Not much to do, but the view on a sunny day is gorgeous. Trails are close by. High up on cliff, no beach access

We saw this on the map and visited but we were disappointed as the view was not great better viewing points at the Peninsula State Park - but it was free
