It was our first time kayaking and our Guide Eric was great! He taught us all the things we needed to know. He was very patient with everyone, friendly, informative, and super fun which made kayaking more fun! Great job!

Had a great time on the cave tour. Highly recommended. It was a tad optimistic for new kayakers in tandem kayaks but it was an awesome day. We did flip the kayak but our guide did an awesome job helping us focus and giving us instruction on how to recover. Great group of people, great spirit. A lot of fun.... More

Our guide was John, and he was awesome! Super chill, they were debating with the wind, but we went out and it was great. The kayaks were really sturdy, and stable. John showed us a swimming hole, near the caves, and some people were brave enough to jump into the swimming hole. COLD water, but really cool to see. He... More

Signed up for 2 adults and 2 kids to do the "Wetlands" tour which promises 2 hours on the water. Seemed reasonable for $55 per person. Here's my problem, 1) we were only on the water for about an hour. 2) they placed my son and I in a Kayak that the front seat was broken. If you know anything... More

We (four adults) were looking forward to the cave tour. Unfortunately on the day of the tour the wind was too extreme on Lake Michigan, and the tour was too dangerous. The staff quickly facilitated a Plan B that involved polling the other tour enrollees and seeing if an alternative wetlands tour would be acceptable and found a time that... More

Our family of four took the cave tour last week with Andrea. The water was clear and calm and we had a fantastic time. Andrea gave us some interesting background about the limestone caves and the cairns that people had built on the shores. We would definitely use Door Co Kayak Tours again.

We went on the cave point kayak tour with John. He was great. Very knowledgeable but laid-back. Kept us informed and together, but let us do our own thing. The bus was VERY late picking us up to start our tour and there was little to no communication about what the hold up might be. The woman working the sign-in... More

We went out with Emma for the cave tour. We had a great time! Everything was organized and there were adequate kayaks and accessories for our group. It was an experienced group so we made good time and stayed together. The caves were cool and it was fun exploring the park from the water. Some of our group jumped and... More

My son and I did the bluff tour. The transport bus is in dire need of replacing. We were joined by several others, including a family with 3 teenagers. These 3 teens were not exactly safety conscious. They rammed into our kayak 3 times before we even GOT to the bluff. They weren't watching where they were going or paying... More

One kayak short for the group at the beginning (we waited 20 min no big deal) , wandering around the parking lot looking for a lost bus that was not there at the end of the tour. I got to say this must have been planned on the fly. What great fun it was though, the guide was fantastic, and... More
