Lots to do here. From canoeing and kayaking brains bay and half moon lake to the museum, the park, ball games, etc. It is quiet, maintained, and clean.

Enjoyed an afternoon with a toddler. There is quite a variety of toys for children of all ages...and more than one dad felt it necessary to take their little ones down the "big" tube slides. I'm almost convinced the kids enjoyed it as much as they did!

We get Express baseball tickets, catch the game and then have a seat for the fireworks. There are a lot of activities throughout the day at the museums for families with younger children. And the train rides are fun.

When we visit grandparents they always love to grab some fried chicken and take us for a picnic at Carson park. The playground is huge and they have some unique tube slides. It's also very pretty and great for family photos.

Carson park in Eau Claire is a really nice park, but there is also a baseball stadium that is in its 10th year hosting a Northwoods league baseball team, the Express. Fun to watch a good game, BUT, do NOT pop for the extra fee for the "fan deck". It sounds like a good deal, but it is run poorly... More

Home town park. Great history, great museum. Train rides for kids. Watching baseball or football is so much fun. Express or Cavaliers for baseball. Predators or Crush for football. Or there are many other events like sawdust city days.

Nice play areas for kids, there is a baseball field where the Eau Claire Express plays which is a fun and inexpensive event during the summer if you're looking for something to do.

I've been coming to this park since I was a baby. This is a nice, big park. There is a great playground for kids, and trails to walk. The baseball field out there is worth a look. You can also find the Chippewa Valley Museum tucked away in the park, complete with Paul Bunyan Logging Camp. If you go during... More
