I think this park is a hidden gem compared to Devils Lake. We spent the whole day hiking and ran into 2 other people unlike Devils Head . The park has alot of tornado damage from last year but the trails are open. A good place to start is the parking lot of Enee Point and take the Pine Cliff... More

Fall colors were fantastic. Be sure to pick up a trail guide at Park Office, they didn't offer one, so I had to ask. This will help if you want to know the difficulty of any of the trails. If you only have a limited time schedule, I would not waste time on the Lakeview Trail as it has mostly... More

Nice October hiking. We especially liked the Stephens Falls connection to Lost Canyon trail and then back to the parking lot. Very nice views and colors along the creek. We also hike the Mill Creek trail, but the lake views weren't that great. Make sure you walk along the top of the dam dike, nice lakes views from there.

I live near this park and often go to it in the spring and summer. Both the lakes are excellent for swimming and kayaking. There are many trails, but my favorite is Stephen's Falls, which also features a spring house left from the original residents of the area. It's always a fun trip.

This was our first visit to Governor Dodge. It was more than we expected. We just had a few hours to visit. We did limited walking but the trails we used were paved and easy walking. Enjoyed a huge ice cream cone while viewing the lake. Peaceful!

The trails are well groomed and the scenery is amazing. Been riding in a lot of places in Wisconsin and this is one of the best places. So much riding you could be riding for 8 hours and not cover all the trails that are available there for riding. The terrain is hilly, rocky in spots (best to have at... More

Very nice well kept campground with lots of things to do. Camp sights were well maintained and spacious enough for comfort. No electrical if you need it but brings a peaceful atmosphere as limited big rigs.

We were here several years ago in the early Fall. Perfect for hiking and scenic views with a lot of birds and wildlife. My husband said he wants to go back to fish there because it's one of the few state parks that stock musky. But so far we haven't had the chance. It was beautiful.

we have camped here with friends and family for many years. beautiful scenery - forests, rolling hills and meadows and several nice lakes. However - if you go in summer it can be very hot and humid because much of it is situated in a valley. It would be great for a fall camping trip. Some of our group who... More

This state park has plenty of hiking trails, two lakes, campsites - it's not to be missed when you are in the area.
