Enjoy a day full of experience at Wisconsin’s own Dancing Horses, Animal...

Enjoy a day full of experience at Wisconsin’s own Dancing Horses, Animal Gardens. You day begins with The Dancing Horses Theatre presentation of an enchanting NEW performance that is unparalleled anywhere else. From the moment the show opens until the finale, the audiences of all ages sit spellbound, applauding each equine performer and trainer, exclaiming in wonder, chuckling at the humor and even wiping the occasional tear when a moment of connection touches a heartstring. Get up close with the trainers with our newest park feature: the Backstage Tour. During the tour, you are given a demonstration about liberty-style horse training and then you will be invited into the stables to meet the equine performers. Next, as you exit The Dancing Horses Theatre, you enter the 30-minute Exotic Bird Show which follows. Meeting our Exotic Birds is a delightful treat. This performance features several different species of exotic birds that will amaze you with their incredible abilities and antics. Your experience continues with more, a visit to the Baby Animal Barn. The Baby Animal Barn is filled with both domestic and exotic baby animals that children can hold and feed. Our staff is there to answer any questions you may have about our baby animals. In close proximity is an outside petting zoo and several charming rides children will enjoy. You can then take a walk or ride through our Wildlife Exhibit, a natural-setting zoo where you can see animals, many of which are indigenous to Wisconsin. The exhibit culminates in the Deer Park where you can pet and feed white tail deer. You can experience a tractor-pulled wagon ride though the park, where larger animals are available for viewing. You won’t want to miss the train ride though our Indian Village; complete with teepees, Native American art, and oral history lesson about the area’s indigenous people. With the two stunning performances, The Dancing Horses and the Exotic Bird Show, and our animal attractions, this will be a day you will not soon forget and will want to share with everyone.

While waiting to see the show, we gave our granddaughters pony rides & face painting. The gift shop is exceptional. We chose seats in the front row. The sound system was excellent. The numerous horse & rider numbers were delightful, professional, & stunning. We loved the music choices & Christmas decorations. After the show, 5 entertainers sat on their horses... More

as a "horse person" i wasn't as impressed as i thought i would be. my favorite parts were the miniature horses and the trick riding. the huge screen in the background was completely unnecessary. some of the performers who brought the horses up close to the audience and did pony rides didn't seem too friendly. maybe they were stressing before... I brought my sister and mother to this show not really knowing what to expect. We were all amazed at what a great show we saw. The horses are well trained and very well cared for. Very talented trainers and performers. It is nice to see the blood line still in action from the original "Baskin Robins" Horse. Family owned... More

A holiday show for the entire family! We will be going back next year! The horses are well trained and the seating is so everyone is close to the arena. Best seats are in the center middle. There are no reserved seats. We arrived 40 minutes before the 1pm show and enjoyed watching people feed the miniature potbelly pig grapes,... More

The show was excellent. I attended with my two year old granddaughter, my mother, aunt and four year old cousin and we ALL enjoyed the show! The horses were healthy and comfortable in the arena. (As an animal lover and former veterinary technician I would never return to an animal show if I felt they were not well cared for... More

This past week my co-worker and I took a tour from McHenry County College to The Dancing Horses Theater for the first time. We had a delicious 3 course catered lunch, watched an Amazing Holiday Horse Show - the horses were Adorable! And the Costumes were Gorgeous! We also got to observe Beautiful Birds in your Entertaining Bird Show, and... More

My daughter and I love horses, and were so excited to visit this place. The show was interesting and informative, not too short, great music and lights effects, acrobatics routines, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the price was right (we got tickets on groupon). The barns were very clean, and the horses seemed happy and well cared for.... More

We bought discount tickets for this not expecting much. We were beyond surprised. The facility is nice but the horses and the talented trainers were amazing. The best part was going backstage to get close to the horses.

Great show, really talented performers, human and equine. Children and adults will love this, for those of you who are in the horse world you will really appreciate the well bred horses and their talents. Cross between Cavalia and a broadway show. Property is well maintained and the petting zoo and bird show are worth the visit just for them.
