Description: Enjoy a day full of experience at Wisconsin’s own Dancing Horses, Animal...
Enjoy a day full of experience at Wisconsin’s own Dancing Horses, Animal Gardens. You day begins with The Dancing Horses Theatre presentation of an enchanting NEW performance that is unparalleled anywhere else. From the moment the show opens until the finale, the audiences of all ages sit spellbound, applauding each equine performer and trainer, exclaiming in wonder, chuckling at the humor and even wiping the occasional tear when a moment of connection touches a heartstring. Get up close with the trainers with our newest park feature: the Backstage Tour. During the tour, you are given a demonstration about liberty-style horse training and then you will be invited into the stables to meet the equine performers. Next, as you exit The Dancing Horses Theatre, you enter the 30-minute Exotic Bird Show which follows. Meeting our Exotic Birds is a delightful treat. This performance features several different species of exotic birds that will amaze you with their incredible abilities and antics. Your experience continues with more, a visit to the Baby Animal Barn. The Baby Animal Barn is filled with both domestic and exotic baby animals that children can hold and feed. Our staff is there to answer any questions you may have about our baby animals. In close proximity is an outside petting zoo and several charming rides children will enjoy. You can then take a walk or ride through our Wildlife Exhibit, a natural-setting zoo where you can see animals, many of which are indigenous to Wisconsin. The exhibit culminates in the Deer Park where you can pet and feed white tail deer. You can experience a tractor-pulled wagon ride though the park, where larger animals are available for viewing. You won’t want to miss the train ride though our Indian Village; complete with teepees, Native American art, and oral history lesson about the area’s indigenous people. With the two stunning performances, The Dancing Horses and the Exotic Bird Show, and our animal attractions, this will be a day you will not soon forget and will want to share with everyone.

This is a jewel easily missed. The horse show was amazing and well worth attending. They also have an interesting bird show and a petting zoo. The horse theater provides dinner prior to the show. The talent of the riders and the trained animals was awesome. It is well worth attending. The children can have pictures taken on the horses.... More

This is one of my favorite things to do with the Grandkids. I wish I could adopt a few, just to attend! I have visited Animal Gardens and seen the Dancing Horses at least six times. I never tire of the talent. Aside from the show, take time to visit the animal farm, bird show (you will be amazed) and... More

If you love horses of all ages and sizes, this show is for you! It's a show for kids of all ages, and it really is a magical experience. It's not only about the performances, but it's about the love of a family who has devoted enormous time and energy to their horses and to their staff. The costumes are... More

If you know anything about horses, you know the time, hard work, patience, savvy, and care it takes to train them. I was AMAZED at the level of skill that went into the performance, ALL LIVE, happening just a few feet in front of you. Beautiful animals, with fantastic costumes, fun themes, varied lighting, upbeat music, bubbles. It was amazing.... More

I brought a group from St. Louis, Mo to see your show June 16-19 2015. All 37 were amazed with the Arabian horses, trainers and dinner. The baby barn was fantastic as well as the bird show. Would come back in a heart beat. In fact I was so pleased as a group leader that I have notified Vandalia Bus... More

Took the grandaughters. Was expecting it to be a nice diversion and petting zoo. It is so much more. The girls absolutely loved it and are expecting us to take them again this summer. Much to my surprise I thoroughly enjoyed it as well and am also looking forward to going back.

We went for my daughter's 17th birthday and it was just awesome. I was in awe of the beauty of the horses and how well trained they are. The costumes and riders/performers were wonderful too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, young or old.

Took my husband for our anniversary, he has owned several horses over the years. He loved the show but enjoyed the backstage passes I bought too. Not only is this great for couples but for a family too they also have an exotic Bird show and a petting zoo. Great for the animal lover in all of us.

This show is a must see for any horse lover in the area. The horses are so incredibly well trained--what fun to watch. We also stayed for the bird show afterwards, which was quite enjoyable. We also found a Wilderness Trail (I don't think others knew about it, as we were the only people on it) behind the grounds. This... More
