Grew up in Eau Claire and had never visited so this was a treat to learn about some local history and a business that truly thrives. The tour guide Missi was excellent; upbeat, informative, and fun. Then the sampling in the Lodge with a nice little souvenir tasting glass. I'll definitely be returning with more people because it was such... More

Miller actually owns this company but you wouldn't know it from what is presented to you. It gives the feeling of an old time, independent brewery with modern, well done presentation and public relations. On the other hand, everyone was having a good time. Beer samples were abundant. They were five for $1.00 at a large wooden bar and that... More

Worth a stop if you are in the area. There is a 50 minute tour for a small charge, followed by a generous beer tasting (included in the price). This is one of the oldest family owned breweries in the nation (although now a subsidiary of Miller). Tour was interesting, with lots of trivia. Beer tasting was great, and you... More

We visited Leinie's on Fathers' Day, and it was a madhouse. Despite the crowd, the tour guide, who was new, did a great job of taking us through the facility and answering questions. The tasting area was crazy, but the people doing the pouring did a terrific job of being timely and keeping everybody straight. The pours are very generous;... More

I am sure its hard to change it up and keep it interesting when you give tours multiple times a day, day after day, but this one was pretty scripted. Good tour none the less and the Leinie Lodge had lots of nice items for sale. Samples were a plus!

It has been 3 years since we were here last, and I must say it is still 1 of the best brewery tours around. You pay $1 for a wrist band and that will get you 5 tasting and you get to keep the 5oz glass. Sammy, our tour guide was very polite and made the tour very informative, fun... More

Great place to see and taste. Friendly folks who seem to love their jobs. Lots of Leinie products. I bought a ste of logoed glasses that are now my favorite beer vessels. And the beer, mmmm.

I have been a huge fan of Leinie's for years. Family is from WI and we just recently started to get them in CA. This trip we made the 3 hour drive to the Lodge from Eagle River, WI. The brewery is very small compared to the big brands and the tour is extremely intimate. If you go, try to... More

Our young tour guide was excellent.. Great speaker. One of my biggest annoyances is being on a tour somewhere and you can't understand the guide! But yes, ours was good. I wish I could remember his name. You can't take pics inside the brewery, only outside. Very interesting tour. You pay $1 for the tour and 5 taste samples and... More

This is a great stop when you need a break from driving. Leine makes great beer . . . we really like the Orange Shandy, Summer Shandy and Sunset Wheat . . . but they have a tasting bar where you can sample several of their beers and perhaps find a new favorite. Awesome gift shop full of all kinds... More
