All the shops are so interesting...I just get lost for the afternoon. There is definitely something for everyone here.
FANTASTIC selection of "one of kind" pieces of clothing found in all the settlement shops. Jewelry selections are just as vast and unique. The shop owners are friendly and never pushy. The atmosphere is spendid! It is definitely a "woman's place. Men are far and few. Lunch (or dinner) at the Creme and Crepe cafe is a MUST! Don't leave... More
Lots of great shops, restaurants, and even a winery. Well worth a visit. Plan for a couple of hours to see everything. Beware, there are a lot of stairs too. I did not see an elevator, but they may have one. It closes at 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
There are plenty of shops in Cedar Creek Settlement. I pretty caters to everyones tastes. We buy a new christmas ornament every year. Found a beautiful ornament there. My wife also found some nice jewelry there. Also, take time to visit the winery. You won't be disappointed. We enjoyed our time there.
The downtown of Cedarburg WI is not big but full with shops in old and scenic buildings One that stands out is the Cedar Creek Settlement that is currently occupied with variety of stores. Definitely not for a place for family with young kids.
I was up and down the four floors many times. Loved the way the building was laid out. The shops were fun but only one out of the five on the top floor was open and it was a Saturday. Plenty to see but men were very bored.
I discovered a great shop on the third floor of the settlement. They specialize in cloths and accessories for dolls 18" tall like American girl. The prices are great and the owner will bend over backwards to help you out. I will be back for my Christmas shopping.
Cedarburg is a quaint, picturesque place to visit. The Cedar Creek Settlement is centrally located and offers a variety food and shopping opportunities. I like the Anvil it's reasonable and somewhat adventurous fare which always seems to please. I like the Cream and Crepe for a little something sweet.
I love Cedarburg, and esp. the settlement. The shops here are wonderful, but they do change occasionally so you never know what you will find but you can count on finding a new treasure or two. And don't leave without a bottle of wine!
We love Cedarburg. My family goes every year to the fesitvals. Our favorites are the Strawberry festival and the Wine/Fall festival. We love to wander through the streets to browse the vendors and activites. One of our favorites is the duck races in the creek.
