Took us about an hour and half drive from Madison including a quick stop by Wisconsin River. The lake is absolutely beautiful and the landscape is gorgeous. It has everything for everyone. Great for families with little kids to swim in the lake. Families with older kids can do the easy hike just fine. Saw groups of young adults did... More

A true treat! Great beach with hiking all around! We went on a Sunday, it was somewhat crowded but not terribly so. There is a place to get food, ice creams and souvenirs. You can rent kayaks and paddle boats. Places to grill. There are 2 sides to the lake that both have beaches, either one is great, just depends... More

We try to get to Devil's Lake at least once, if not more times every summer, even for day trips. The hiking is some of the best in the area - challenging rock climbs and winding forest paths, your choice, whatever you want to do, it's there for you. The beach areas are relatively clean with nice sand and picnic... More

Very helpful rangers, wide variety of trails including very challenging. Pretty lake with kayak and canoe rentals. Come midweek for less crowded hiking and swimming

We only had a couple of hours to visit. we took the advise of the person at the entrance and did the lake tour. It was amazing. We toured along the lake edge and on our left were constant pink and purple boulders left over from the ice age. Because this is part of the National Park ice age tour... More

Excellent hiking and scenery. And a somewhat challenging hike. A lot of trails have less of a climb than this one, but the view makes it very rewarding. Bring some water and snacks :)

Love to hike, park provides plenty of that with a great views to boot. Lake is great for swimming, picnic areas are all over the park for you to use, camping areas a plenty for the family to enjoy. Take the hike to views Devils Doorway. Parts of the Park is Dog Friendly :)

Devil's lake is just a really Beautiful park!! there is swimming, boating, camping, and hiking to keep you busy. It not hard to find and if your in the Wisconsin Dells area and like outdoor activities - then this is a must do!! There is also an apple orchard near by if you are into that!

There are bluffs around the lake with hiking trails. There is a rock face for climbing. There is a beach for wading and swimming. Lots of camping spaces, which I've visited but not stayed in. You can take scuba diving lessons here, as well as fish. I find this to be one of the few places where I can truly... More

I camped at the park and used it as a base for several days while I explored the region. I didn't really see much of the park, but the campground is nice and the restroom building I used looked brand new.
