We are truly blessed to be able to live so close to such a beautiful park. It has 29 miles of hiking trails and gets more visitors per year (over 1.5 million) than some national parks. A perfect place to spend the day swimming, hiking and enjoying the great outdoors with your family.

Devils lake state park is one of the most popular state parks in Wisconsin. Its beauty always amazes me. My kids have all grown up spending their summers are the lake. The water is warm and it stays shallow for quite a ways out. Steinke Basin is a part of Devils lake that isn't as busy during the summer. It... More

all year round Devils Lake S.P. offers something for the young and old...bring out the adventurer in you or relax to the splashing waters and the peacefulness of watching the birds.

We had a great time climbing with The Northwest Passage. Their guides were knowledgeable, the equipment was well maintained, and the climbing was awesome! I had never been climbing before and this was a great way to get into the sport. I would definitely do it again, and with this company!

Devil's Lake is a grand and awesome place. It offers swimming, hiking, walking, picnicking, camping, etc. Even on a very busy warm Sunday afternoon you can find a spot to relax. Walk the RR tracks and find a large rock to sit and read on for a few hours, will give you a lovely afternoon. If you a feeling energized... More

I have lived in Wisconsin for most of my life and never had the opportunity to visit Devils Lake. I planned a camping trip with my friends and it will definitely become a yearly tradition. Do not be intimidated by the "long hike" there are tons of spots and trails for different levels. I can assure you that anywhere you... More

I grew up going to Devils Lake! From camping back with high school friends, rock climbing with the Y.C.C back in 1979, romantic hikes with boys of my past and doing some of the best icefishing I have ever done there! It is a year round family place to go!

The beach is really nice. Perfect soft sand. Ultra clear water. The peaks are unique and give the lake a supernatural feel. Trout fishing is pretty good. I love this place and can't wait to go back. I probably won't camp there again though as the sites are from the beach and are aren't all that. The lake itself though... More

I happen to have the good fortune to live only ten minutes away from Devil's Lake, or Spirit Lake as we locals call it. I am an avid hiker and kayaker, and Spirit Lake is my 'go-to' spot for both of those activities. The park has many hiking trails of varying difficulty. The hardest may be the West Bluff Trail,...
