Went with a 7 year old who's grown up with all the media, gaming and excitement of today...he was interested in some of it, but the exhibits with extreme circus details and minutiae were far too much for him to take. I found some it interesting, but you can only look at so many painted wagons. Magix show was a... More

Even though we were there in the off season, we were able to enjoy a magic show and all of the circus exhibits. Not a bad half day for $9.95 each.

I went to Circus World years ago when my children were little and remember it as an enjoyable experience. This time I went with friends and while it was in the fall so a lot of the features weren't operating, it was still a most enjoyable experience. A great history lesson about the circus, about the Ringling brothers and Baraboo... More

This is the best kept secret on the "DELLS". This will really take you back in time. Whatever you do make sure to see the Movies at the beginning of the tour. One thing folks need to understand that this is run by volunteers and not a corporation. I really think the city should promote this Gem and if they... More

Circus World is a museum and like most museums, there is much about it that is educational. In this case, the older you are, probably the more you will appreciate the history that is captured in this place. There are parts of the museum that will keep the attention of children, but it is not just one big circus either.... More

Although clearly a great place in it's heydey, it currently needs a lot of work. Only part of the grounds were open, and very few visitors were there. The mini dioramas and antique circus wagons are the best part, but could be showcased much better in my opinion.

I would go earlier in the year. We went after labor day and a lot of the stuff was shut down but it's a great place and I would go again.

First, I have to say.... I am a little bummed about several things at the museum. Mostly, I think things (especially the Wagons!) could be SO MUCH BETTER displayed! The wagons were just kinda thrown into the area, I felt. I wish they were properly presented with plaques, pictures, etc. all right together. But regardless, they are fantastic to see!... More

We went on the off season but it was great! Seeing all the wagons and the train loaded with old equipment was awesome. Learning the history of the Ringling brothers and their family was interesting. I just can't imagine growing up and always wanting to run away and join the circus! I really enjoyed seeing the costume wagons since I... More

If you remember going to the circus as a child you won't want to miss this great Circus Museum. In summer they also have a circus show, but we missed that, coming after Sept 1st. You won't believe all the circus wagons, displays, and information there is here on the history of the circus in America. Remember Dumbo? Read about... More
