Description: Circus World in Baraboo is America's favorite circus attraction! Baraboo...
Circus World in Baraboo is America's favorite circus attraction! Baraboo was home to The Ringling Bros. Circus from 1884 thru 1918, and during those thirty-four years the operation grew to become the largest circus enterprise the world has ever known. Although the Ringlings left in 1918, many of their original structures survived.During the summer months, Circus World comes to life with daily live shows and demonstrations. See the world’s largest collection of glorious parade wagons plus 7 authentic Ringling Bros. buildings filled with colorful, big top memories. Enjoy elephant, pony and carousel rides; cotton candy, ice cream, tasty sandwiches and 2 gift shops. Experience a live circus performance and exciting illusion shows with magician Tristan Crist. Experience the thrill that never grows old at Circus World!

The big top show was good enjoyed it. Side show displays were a little cheesy. Didn't see the kid circus because my nephew didn't get picked and had a melt down so we had to leave. Took a carousel ride needs some updating! Magic show was good really enjoyed that. Loved the wagon and display building.

We spent most of a day visiting this attraction near Wisconsin Dells. High points were the Circus Instruments show at 9:30 and the Magic/Illusion show. The Circus Wagon Tour at 1:00 was also interesting. Seeing this makes me want to see the big Circus again!

Part museum, part performance center, this place can take a full day to really experience. There are extensive exhibits on the Ringling family, as well as other specific circus performers and owners in the history of the American circus. To break up the museum exhibits, they also have several types of performances. The Big Top Show is of course a... More

Circus World is not just for kids! We had a buy one adult get a child free coupons. I love that this is an attraction that can take up most if not all of your day. They have a big top circus show, a magic show, a kids circus and numerous other activities. There are many exhibits which truly demonstrate... More

I made a mistake writing my last review, reviewed the Ringling museum but meant the circus museum. I hear the Ringling museum is a great place to visit also but haven't been there yet. Have been to the circus museum many times and always learn something new.

This place is great for little children, and has lots of story for adults. Is about what circus were more than a century ago. It is Great that this tradition has been kept. Hopefully it will keep running and growing.

I knew there were risks driving to a place called Circus World, but hoped for the best. We arrived just in time for the morning big top show and were entertained by most of it. The fact that they use rescue dogs in their show is wonderful, but the fact that they are still using whips and hooks with the... More

Neat history including the circus itself and circus wagons! Front row seats for circus & magic show! A fun day especially for younger children, but teens & adults will enjoy it too. See elephants eating whole watermelons!

I highly recommend spending the day at Circus World. The magic show and big top shows are more than worth the admission price. The restored wagons kept even our 3 and 5 year olds enthralled. We spent 5 hours there nc it was only the fact that it was a very hot day that we did not spend more time.... More

Traveling with two grandparents in their 60's, younger brother 10 yrs and myself 21 yrs. We came into Baraboo specifically for the Barnum & Bailey Circus museum. We came during summer prices so it was a little on the expensive side for 4 but as we were told that price was for admission and everything else was free inside the... More
