One of our children is really into bridges and knew that this type of bridge is pretty rare. The kids enjoyed riding over it and got a kick out of the fact that it wasn't a concrete or asphalt floor. Neat little piece of history.

We drove both past the bridge and over the bridge. It looks modern until you see the bases at each end of the span. Amazing to see this kind of historical piece of engineering.

It is a cool structure but not much to see unless you research ahead of time. Don't really understand the #1 attraction rating.

this was fun to walk across during our time in Wheeling. It was the perfect place to take pictures. The bridge even moves as bit while you're on it. What a great piece of history.

That type of bridge is unique and not found everywhere. Our bridge is a lot longer but is basically the same and it ws just neat to see the comparisions of the two bridges

We travel by the bridge regularly on I-70. After reading about it in the AARP magazine, we decided to stop and walk it one beautiful summer afternoon. It was well worth the time. I have a little trouble with heights and the walkway is a metal grate, so you can see the river below you. That took a little adjustment... More

First time I have seen or drove on a Suspension Bridge. It was quite interesting to experience this first-hand. I wish the weather was nicer so we could have walked over it.

We loved seeing this bridge; it's a beautiful landmark. We enjoyed going to the nearby summer festivals or just walking along the river path and up to the bridge. My seven year old thought it was great to walk over the river on the bridge. It was a little nerve-racking to me because there was a lot of traffic when... More

Easy access to Wheeling Downs. Was able to get around the city without any problems. Was able to get to the casino without any problems and was greeted as we entered the facility.
