This zoo was nice to visit with our 2 year old grand daughter on a Sunday afternoon. She loved the train ride! We walked the outer loop around the zoo and was able to see all the animals. I felt that the playground area needs new mulch; it was muddy and puddled under the swings. The zoo is very hilly... More

We attended this years Brew at the Zoo Event and enjoyed a wonderful evening. The food and beverage variety and presentation was a real treat. The lay out was well done. The wait for food or drink was brief if any. Great music. Took the shuttle to see kangaroos and Dino's. The train was relaxing. The Columbus Zoo brought special... More

We took our kids to the Good Zoo. Besides the animals, which are very good, the kids love the model train room and the train ride!

Great little zoo - perfect for quick visit! Great train station room filled with huge model train and hands on activities for kids. Worth the visit if you aren't comparing to a big city zoo.

This zoo is perfect for parents of little ones ( but ALL ages will enjoy it), they can run free of the stroller and you don't have to worry about them getting lost in a sea of people. You also don't have to fight the crowds of people trying to see a glimpse of an animal. There is plenty of... More

Although we visited off season we thought getting to the Zoo by 4PM would be adequate time. It wasn't. WE were disappointed to find the Zoo closed when we arrived. Make sure you plan ahead and check their times!

This zoo is quite small but a diversity of animals for the size. As usual, one wonders about an animal's life living in a zoo but the educational component was excellent. A great gift store, too.

First the house: The outside with the fountain and flowers is pretty and may I note that the china they had was spectacular. The rooms were better than any home I've been in fully furnished. My favorite was the dinning room. The woman in charge was friendly and helpful. A bit dusty...... Zoo: we had 30mins but made the best... More

The Oglebay Good Zoo is tiny but very nice. It's in a pretty wooded setting with a scattering of decent exhibits. The animals are obviously well cared for as they were boast recent births of endangered animals such as African Painted Dogs, Grevy's Zebra, and Golden Lion Tamarins. They also had a unique mixed species exhibit of Red Panda and... More

Thank you for sharing! It is always nice to see that the love and passion the zoo staff provides to our animals is apparent to our guests. The zoo is a living thing, and the staff and animals make every visit special and unique so we hope you can find the time to visit us again. More

Though the outdoor zoo was closed, there was a marvelous outdoor light display. We loved the laser show and model trains as well.
