The village is beautiful. The ski shops seem to lack a lot of equipment. I would have bought new boots and a helmet, but they didn't have my size in either. They only had small helmets available. There are a few restaurants. We haven't eaten in them in a couple years as they were crowded and not that great. The... More

We decided at the last minute to come here over Presidents weekend. The place was sold out so we ended up at a cabin in Marlington which was lovely….about a 30-40 minute drive but beautiful. Snowshoe mountain is very different than most. Everything is at the top of the hill and not at the bottom. They need to advertise that... More

I enjoy the look and feel of Snowshoe Village even if I'm not frequenting the restaurants or stores. Having a central courtyard adds to the experience of being on vacation as opposed to being isolated in a hotel overlooking a parking lot. The nice part is that you don't have to spend any money in the restaurants or stores if... More

Everything was built with the least expensive materials available, maintenance is truly lacking, uncleared walkways, broken doors, broken water fountains. An they charge more than the much nicer resorts.

If you're looking for a ski vacation where you can walk in and walk out of your building with your skis and start at the top of the mountain, the villages is the location. Expedition station has lockers to store your skis in the locker room - 10 steps from the top of the slopes. I don't know about the... More

My family all ski except my wife and she struggled to find a location to sit and read in the village. Starbucks is the only real option and it was packed.

We stayed at the bottom of the mountain but we drove up the mountain for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised at the village. They were having lots of activities for the holiday weekend. We had dinner on one of the patios and enjoyed the band playing. The shops are a little pricey but different.

Love the village. WE always stay at Mountain Lodge to be near the activity and convenience of the village.
