We went there a few years ago my Husband and our Son. We had a great time, loved the Village set up and atmosphere. I'm not big on skiing like my husband and Son but even I had a great time. Many different slopes to pick from. The Scenerey is beautiful and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We... More

We love to go to snowshoe with the family at Christmas. It is easy for us to get to from various parts of Va and it allows more ease of travel than heading out west. The kids ages 8 to 16 have plenty of slope room and we have had great experiences with their instructors. The one thing I wish... More

We are not skiiers, but being there during the winter season makes you think you are in the Swiss Alps. I have only seen this type scenery on TV or in books, catalogs, etc. We were there in the winter months and the snow hanging on the evergreen trees is absolutely breath-taking. We saw lots of deer, some bucks with... More

We went to Snowshoe for a week in August and were happily surprised by all the warm weather activities. There were great hikes, a beach and lake, and mountain bike trails. It was also a few degrees cooler than our home in Virginia - a welcome break from the summer heat. While it is known as a ski destination, it... More

We stayed for Labor Day weekend at Allegheny Springs Village. Wonderful, clean, inviting accommodations. We had part of a sunset view and a great view of the village. Lots of activities were going on for the holiday. Our weekend included the fun pack and we were able to take advantage of the lift and shaver's lake activities. We even got... More
