If there is something you want to know about the area or find a book that tells the history from the eyes of soldiers who used Seneca for training or maps or just ask questions! Look around! You won't see this anywhere else!

Nice introduction to the rocks and region for kids and adults. The Footpath starts here to the rocks.

Went through the center to go up Seneca Rocks. It is 1.5 mile walk up to the base of the rocks. It is so worth the sweat and exercise. Did not expect I would actually be standing @ the very top! Wohoo!

My sister and I were traveling back to WVa researching our ancestors this June and Seneca Rocks was on our way. As kids our Dad use to bring us here. Our vacations consisted of camping whereever there was a good trout stream of which there are many in Pendleton County. The last time I was here there was a small... More

A great place to visit... There is a room that shows a movie, an area with information about the Seneca Rocks and a store that sells lots of wonderful gifts. Last time I was there, I purchased two 3D photos.

If you're into hiking or rock climbing, this is the place to visit! You can hike to the top of Seneca Rocks to the Observatory Deck and have a beautiful view of the valley below. If you're more of a daredevil and are experienced in rock climbing, then you'll be able to do that instead. The North River also flows... More

As we drove by Seneca Rocks on our way to another attraction I noticed what appeared be be sheer rock face on a distant mountain. It was beautiful but I thought there would be no way to get to the top of that mountain. On our way home someone said they wanted to stop and see Seneca Rocks. As we... More

This is a great spot with some neat T-shirts, hats and other souvenir type stuff. Lots of books on WV culture, wildlife, sights etc. Historic and natural displays and there was a folk music group when we were there on a Saturday morning. Free observation glasses on the back deck allow you to see climbers and hikers on the rocks.

[My wife and I just returned home from leading a group of 50 seniors from our church on a four-day, charter bus outing to the Elkins, WV area. This was one of many places we visited during our trip and the review is oriented to our experience travelling by bus as a large group.] En route to Elkins, WV, we... More
