The website stated they are open on Sundays. We arrived on Sunday. Hours on door state not open on Sunday. This is a shame. Call ahead if you want to visit to confirm they are actually open. The restored Princeton WV train station looked nice from the outside. A restored caboose is on property. There really is nothing else close... More

Looked cute. Hours on website said they were open on Sundays but when we got there the posted hours were different. Bummer.

Everyone likes trains! This new museum in Princeton, WV, is a great place to go if you're vacationing in this part of WV. “Wonderful little museum - well worth the time.”

My husband's the railroad buff but I also enjoyed visiting this little gem of a museum. Nice displays, laid out so they're easy to see, lots of light and room. The docent clearly knows her stuff and loves her job. Definitely a kid-friendly place.
